Honestly, what PvE experience has been ruined due to PvP nerfs? I play both, lacking in PvE to be honest, but I have never once felt a difference due to a nerf. Except for nerfs that came because of PvE exploits thanks to our beloved YouTuber community

Viking Funeral and Solar Grenades, as of right now. VF actually decreases the damage you do to an enemy and burn damage from any Solar source is significantly reduced for some reason. You can literally stand in the fire burners on Shield Brothers right when you fight the tank, and you won't die.

1. Auto rifles 2. Shotguns 3. Ammo reserves 4. Fusion rifles 5. Vex Mythoclast 6. All hand cannons 7. Sunsingers 8. Stormcallers 9. MIDA That's a few from the top of my head.

Nerfing the hammers. They used to be a lot more effective for clearing adds before the nerf.

The only three I've noticed (I play PvE mostly, look at my KF completions). 1. The Y1 Auto Rifle Nerf 2. The Final Shotgun Nerf (make captains in Skolas take 3 Found Verdict Shots instead of 2) 3. The most recent ammo capacity nerf (which I feel was a good thing) Otherwise, you just notice your gun handling a lil bit differently. You figure out what's changed and move on with life.

Edited by Sadisticways: 7/7/2016 4:36:15 AMSpot on these are the only times nerfs were somewhat noticeable to have impacted PvE and they in no way really made PvE more challenging to do the raids.

From what I know PvE was extremelyyyyyyyyy easy. At least for me it always has been, Skolas being the exception. So I have no problem with guns taking a few more shots. With that said, shotguns have never been an option in my book. Snipers in all cases for me have always been the PvE option. Now that swords are a thing especially. As for primaries I usually see people have pulse rifles and scout rifles. Maybe that is because the nerfs? Idk. PvE seems like a distance game. Everyone always wants to have a gap between the enemies and themselves. Most of the big nerfs that happened, PvE wise, were because of overuse and exploiting boss fights. Gally Black Hammer Icebreaker And even the choice to not bring back elemental primaries were all PvE decisions. Be what it may, I hate this whole PvP vs PvE debate and fight going on in the forums. I wish Bungie would separate the nerfs accordingly but it seems that is not an option for whatever reason. Hopefully we get a response sometime regarding it.

Yes, I agree. It's a senseless idea to point fingers amongst each other (PVE and PvP). I primarily crucible but I have ever so many Kf raids done, so I've seen enough to realize that there is an obvious issue with Bungie not listening to the PVE community. I hear you guys. But PvP players no where asked for changes to be made in PVE. Realize what we know: "Bungie has their own agenda." But that doesn't make it PvP players' fault that Bungie is ignoring issues that affect raids and night falls. When I go and raid or something like that with my clan, if changes have been made to the gameplay, we adjust and make it work to get things done. Either way, we can't keep throwing salt around, it makes our community toxic

A lot of the time PvE is a distance game, especially when you're fighting a particularly high damage boss or the burns are not working in your favor when looking at the enemy type. Back in the day when we used to have lightswitch as a modifier, I ALWAYS wanted to have my found verdict so I could make whatever was charging me as dead as possible as fast as possible...I just got used to having either that or icebreaker equipped. As far as things taking a few more shots, that's fine with me as well. You asked, "what was ruined?" and I responded "what I've noticed." Shotguns aren't bad now it's just that snipers are so much better, which is a shame to me, really. The only thing that was ruined in year one were auto rifles, you could use them...but you were seriously handicapping yourself.

Any weapon that's been nerfed. Answer enough? Because there is no argument against that.
-
Ok, let's bring thorn back!
-
All weapon damage.

frequent ammo shortages? gear and skills working differently than the week/night before? insane lag (regardless of pvp/pve)? random physics glitches causing deaths? not necessarily all of these are the result of "pvp nerfs", just completely indicative of minimal effort on Bungie's part + probable horrid netcode.
-
I'll give you ammo shortages. That could easily be fixed by ammo dropping more frequently in PvE.
-
No. The increased ammo drops and the subsequent "reduced timer for auto pickup" is not a solution. The Warpriest and Golgoroth fights require you to literally stand in one place and shoot. There's no time or opportunity to pick up more ammo. The reserve ammo nerf was a PvP forced change that ended up affecting absolutely nothing in PvP, only the PvE quality of life. There was tons of feedback on this after the reveal stream for the April update, from both PvE and PvP players.

Bungie stated that they upped the ammo drops "exponentially" to offset the ammo reserve nerf for PvE. It's clearly not working.
