This is why safe gun practice is 100% essential. My s&w .40 doesnt have a safety. So i keep an empty magazine in it and the full one out of it. Simple as that.

Nahh, i mean i will sometimes, since i have the licenses to open carry and concealed carry, but i dont feel the need to pack heat everywhere i go. Its pointless. My gun is for protection at my house. (Plus the occasional target practice)

Cool, cool, i was just thinking "he carries with an empyy mag?" I carry everywhere it's legal, but im not all freaked out and paranoid like the guy in the article.

I keep an empty clip in it, only because there isnt a safety.

Yeah....i can understand that....why not just keep a loaded mag and the gun not chambered?

Why? Guns dont just "go off" and if there is no round in the chamber, then there is no firing pine in line to even set a round off.
