No. Integration is key. I foresee a Human-Eliksni-Cabal alliance via Avengers EndGame style in some future DLC drop. Bungie has been slowly building up this theme of former enemies now allies. It started with the Cabal, then Fallen. Think for a moment about that. Both Species aren't servants of the darkness, like the Hive, rather, an entire thriving race all on their own. The Cabal have never known the Light, instead, forging a powerful interstellar empire all on their own, a tremendous feat in itself, a species able to survive this dangerous cosmos for so long is a testament of the will and power of the Cabal. The Eliknis, on the other hand, have experienced the Light. It brought a Golden age that saw their species expand beyond their solar system, becoming a vast interstellar power with the aid of the Travelers light. Both species experienced great destruction. The Cabal at the power of the Witch Queens influence bringing death to their homeworld via Hive, losing EVERYTHING. The Eliknis's fate was sealed the moment the Traveler arrived. As we all now know, the Traveler arrives at a system and advances the civilization there then leaves, either by design or fleeing its ancient enemy. In this case, the Traveler abandoned them upon detecting the Dark Fleet, leaving the species to fight "The Whirlwind" all on their own, to which they lost EVERYTHING. Despite all that, all paths lead to Sol. As if it were Destiny, both the Cabal and now Fallen have found themselves in this distant solar system, among a small, but fledging group of warriors wielding the Light and obtaining impossible victories over their enemies, from the smallest grunt to their greatest Gods, the Guardians. I think Zavala will take charge and really appeal to the People of the last city and how we must welcome the Eliknis. If you have read any of the recent lore, there is a tab for Caital and Zavala, she pretty much says, Lakshima is underming you. All in all, peaceful integration. Maybe a battle comes to the Last City and it's the Eliksni who end up saving the day, resulting in Mithrax getting killed, then revived by a Ghost, becoming the first Guardian Eliksni 😉
