Shaders no. The only exceptional ones were raid shaders. D2 has a far more vast selection.

  • Quantity is not quality. A lot of D2's shaders bring these weird textures that look awkward on 90% of what you put them on. D1 didn't have the gloss or pearlescent effects or blueshift dreams, but it was also a lot more consistent because it didn't have to be compatible with literally every piece of physical equipment you can acquire.
