Destiny 1 had better looking armor and shaders
Who remembers glowhoo, and what about Crotas end and vault of glass armor. How about when you could add ornaments and it gave you giant glowing spikes and other cool looks

I always say this! I had so many awesome majestic shaders and armor sets that expresses me very much but in D2 armor and shaders feel so dull and lifeless or just straight up ridiculous to look at. At the top of my head raids, trials and iron banner had amazing armor. As first shaders, Queen's Web, Glowhoo, Shimmer, some shaders from RLS, Wrath of the Machine. The infamous white shaders that I can't remember the name. Chatter white I believe.

(I miss my Y1 IB armour - & Old Guard shader and veteran Ravensteel sparrow) And because of those very things - everything else felt immersive D2 on the other hand - a 3 miles wide, 2 inch deep puddle!

2 RepliesI generally liked how the first game as a whole just seemed to be much more saturated with more defined color. Maybe it was oversaturated in some areas, but places like Io and Nessus just seem so dull to look at.

5 RepliesD1 raid stuff should stay in D1 unless shadowkeep is bringing back the old raids. Also, the only good D1 raid armor was VoG. The others were only good once they got ornaments at the end of D1. Before that they looked bad, except for maybe the RoI raid. That wasn’t awful. Coming from a Titan, the other classes probably had relatively decent stuff in other raids

Buff shaders. My exotic shader does terrible dps. Also the exotic title is impossible to get.

Lets not act like the majority of D1 shaders weren't absolutely terrible. There's a reason most people used the same 10. Also you couldn't apply them to individual pieces of armour. But yeah a lot of the old armour [i]was [/i]cooler tbh.

When they brought in Petra and the Awoken I was hoping for a similar purple, pink, and gold design with that symbol but instead we got that boring silver and teal stuff with the Warlock dreaming city set looking ugly as hell.

I really do miss my Trials Amduat Ink shader...paired with the y1 Egyptian armor, absolutely fantastic.

Also, when you make factions great again, make their new shader's drop rate extremely low like back in D1. It made finally getting one that much sweeter for some reason.

I quit playing D2 when curse of Osiris released, I just recently came back and have been leveling my characters again and something I've noticed is that a lot of the blue (rare) armor sets and weapons look freaking awesome and then you get legendaries that just look awful.

Edited by Kriggs4: 7/24/2019 5:07:18 AMTo people saying recycled... you do realize that the y3 crucible armor was reskinned y1 vanilla rare armor.... all three of the sets from Zavala’s bounties was y1 noob armor recycled... y2 dead orbit armor was a Reskin of the y1 dark below vanguard armor.... there’s a lot more, so it wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine.
