Do what the rest of us did. Wear the higher gear to get better legendary drops. It's not going to be the perfect stats you want, but it's like climbing a ladder. Don't infuse anything unless the item you are using is at least 5 points higher than what you're wearing. Don't waste the cores. Get the higher legendary gear and use it until you get something much higher, then infuse that into the armor and weapons you like. Play smarter, not harder.

Are you aware that you don't have to have your max gear equipped to get higher level drops? The game takes your [b]max [i]possible [/i]level[/b] into account, not just what you happen to be using at the moment. Not bashing your post, just making sure you know how it works. :) I could go do Flashpoint with my characters set up at sub 600 right now and my Warlock and Hunter would get 651+ [i]rewards [/i]while my Titan would get 646+ [i]rewards[/i].

I still have a habit of making sure I'm at my highest power when I go turn stuff in. :) Just an old habit. Simply wasn't sure if you knew. :)
