You don't even need to cheese it's really not that hard to beat this weeks nightfall, took maybe 10 minutes to get to valus and then 20 minutes to kill him

Valus shouldn't take 20 minutes... Even under the stairs, or on a platform, he shouldn't take 20 minutes to complete... It normally takes me about 10-12 minutes to kill him with just me and one other friend. This "cheese" (I use quotes since it isn't a glitch, just creativity) cut that time in half. I'm happy with it.

my fire team beat him in under 2 mins lol ran through both main characters in under 40 mins then made dinner for wife and kids. i dont see your point i use this to beat him faster instead of wasting time on a boss we all killed 100's of time.

I use the stairs when teamed up with my step-bro. He dies a lot in that strike for some reason, so I just switch to bladedancer and play it safe. I figure if he's going to constantly suicide trying to do all the damage, I'll just let him rage it out and reap the rewards. Otherwise I kinda just ninja about the place taking shots when I can. Still though...of all the things in the game I hate the scions most. Actually, pretty much the only thing I hate. I can deal with the rest just fine.

It's not Valus I'm worried about it's those freaking yellow psions haha. They sh** on me all the time

yeah the yellow psions were a pain in the ass died a lot doing that nightfall I am surprised my team was able to beat it.

The key to beating the psions is to have one void weapon equipped, since that takes down their shields. We had a very good strategy of immediately nailing those annoying adds with our void equipped weapons whenever we saw them, and we almost had a three team flawless NF. I equipped a heavy machine with void, and otherwise relied upon my Icebreaker and primary weapon the rest of the time.
