A $5000 camera is not entry level. :lol

I know that, I was asking if it was good or not, I love mine to death but hey... I'm curious

Never used one, to be honest. A bit out of my price range! Haha. From what I've heard however, it's a very good camera. One of my tutors at the art school has one and uses it for low light photography (from what I'm aware it has a very good sensor) Did you buy it yourself? I'd love to see a RAW file. Or at least a high quality .png or something

Editado por Leeroy Jenkins: 6/3/2014 8:39:53 PMNo, my father gave it to me as a gift, he is an avid photographer, an although he considers it a hobby, a very good one. I am hopeful to one day become half as good as he is. He has a plethora of cameras, which probably made gifting me his old Cannon a little easier. I am very careful with it because not only is it expensive, my father still loves it and gave it to me because he knows I love it just as much as he does.I realize I am very lucky, and that I have opportunities most people don't get, but I do enjoy my Cannon very much. The purpose of this next photo is to show that you don't need a $5000 dollar camera to get great shots... That makes me happy! :D

A farm near Walkersville MD - Cannon 5D Mk.3 w/ 35-75mm lens.
Very nice shot! But there's something weird about it... Is it a composite? There is some weird discolouration along the horizon and around the buildings that looks like you've tried to use the bloom tool in Photoshop. Looks far too over sharpened as well but that could just be due to the artefacts that are there because of the awful compression. Do you have a higher quality version? I'd love to see it. The Newseum in Washington DC - iPhone 5s
Mmm. Colourful but messy. With the right framing it could work but... I know. I've been doing photography for years with a 600D - which I just recently sold, I might add. Upgrading very soon. My reply might seem a bit more harsh than I intended, but your comment about not needing a $5000 camera comes off as very backhanded and pretentious. Like nothing I've ever done before has been good and I needed you to show me a rather average HDR iPhone snap to prove otherwise. And then the "fact" at the end... Almost implying I thought lenses captured light in the same way our eyes do and had no idea about what I was doing. Maybe I'm just projecting because I'm tired but it kinda really irritated me. Ahhh, I'm sorry. /rant

Nah man it's cool, although I'll have to go back and read this tomorrow. I'm not god, so I can be wrong. The first pic was there though I tried to add emphasis to the light rays. But yeah I'm pretty wiped so remind me tomorrow
