I was taking some pictures of some flowers, bees and snails in my backyard/garden last week. i thought id share my favorite ones. I must say I'm so happy i discovered close ups. its made taking photography much more enjoyable and less of a hassle for me lol. I absolutely love taking pictures of bees. i love how fuzzy they are and how the pollen sticks to their coats. (:
So lets see your best pictures you've taken flood.

1 RespuestaGreat shot. Bees always seem uncooperative when taking a photo for me. I end up looking like a moron chasing bees around my yard with a camera. Just something I noticed you could do is apply the "rule of thirds" to your pictures. It is a pretty easy thing to do and it make your pictures aesthetically pleasing.

I snapped a bunch with iPad in back yard and made a panorama of a Texas sunset. I love bees.

2 RespuestasNot pictures I've ever taken, in fact, these are the pictures of a relative to a friend of mine. I don't know much about him, and it looks like the site he runs is pretty old and outdated, unused even, but he's gotten on the front over of two magazines for his pictures. These were taken in British Columbia. Lemme see if I can dig up some other ones.

I took this in Isla Mujerres, Mexico with my iPod. DISCLAIMER: I don't know shit about photography. I thought it was pretty and took a picture.

13 RespuestasEditado por Jaaake AU: 5/29/2014 3:52:42 AMIt looks like you're using a simple point and click camera. Is that right? If you're serious about photography I highly recommend buying a DSLR. If you want some suggestions on cameras just PM me. I'm a third year photography student at university and spent a fair bit of time playing around with entry level cameras. Secondly. I think you should focus on your composition a little more. The snail one in particular is kinda... dull. Remember rule of thirds and that you should account for everything in the photo. Obviously it's just a guideline but when you're starting out you should really try and focus on aspects like that. A shallow DoF and some better positioning would have done your photo wonders. Unfortunately I haven't seen any snails around here lately so I can't give specific examples... but here is a bird picture I took a while back that somewhat shows how interesting a dull photo can get when you start thinking about certain aspects (should be noted that this was essentially a snap while photographing people, so it's not something I consider good. But you get the idea) As for the flower one... haha. I think everyone went through that stage. Here is one I took like 6 years ago. If you're gonna go that route (which quite frankly I find a bit boring), then you should be focusing on individual flowers and petals instead of a bush - otherwise it just looks like a random snap. With a decent macro lens you can get some beautiful details (and you'd be able to photography Bees better!) Some random tidbits. I'm not on my computer so don't have anything to share for myself at the moment /ranty rant rant rant

These were also all taken from a DSLR camera (except 9 and 3 which were point-and-shoot cameras) and they were not taken from my phone.

Editado por Leeroy Jenkins: 6/3/2014 1:21:58 AMThis is one of my favorites, managed to snap it off right as we were being ushered out of the Newseum in DC with my iPhone, and I didn't get to look at it until we were on the car ride back... But damn it worked. http://i.imgur.com/YUXSjMd.jpg This next one was another snap-shot, although I was using my Cannon 5D Mk.3 with a 35-75mm lens. Is one of my favorites though. http://i.imgur.com/gJCUu4E.jpg Another iPhone picture, this one I used HDR Pro to get the shadows and lights to compensate. http://i.imgur.com/i1YRjDF.jpg On my trip to the Biltmore Estate I veered off the path and found this cool little bench, it was so peaceful and serene. I set up this shot and just enjoyed the entire experience. Note: There is no way in hell I'm pulling any of the shit off the SD cards, I'm lazy as all hell.

Honestly? I don't know what kind of morals you were taught growing up, but I'd think twice before posting those impure pictures on this site, no need for more perversion
