Didn't meant to bully lol Just poking fun.
But the concept behind one-eyed robots have been around for a whole. You had good intention to believe in the similarity.
Besides the obvious, Geth have a similar pierced-armor appearance but are less so mechanical and more somewhat synthetic

It's not just looks, they have the same limbs (except for there gun arm) they have one glowing eye, and they are heartless robots with a mysterious background and both are under the the control of one thing. Like the geth being controlled by the reapers
-
Whoa whoa whoa. Geth. Heartless? Did Legion teach you nothing about the compassionate capabilities of machines?
-
Yup taught me they just wanna stay alive :3 Until I shoot him in the face
-
You monster....
-
It was a not so tough call I never really liked him

I managed to save both the quarians and the Geth and if forced to choose I would pick the Geth not just based on my comrades. I like Tali and Legion but based on the circumstances of the situation. The Quarians overreacted, they tried to destroy the Geth because they wouldn't try to live side by side with them as the Geth became sentient. Then the Geth spare them destruction. They allow them to leave and survive. And when the Quarians want their world back they don't even attempt to contact the Geth to work out a deal or anything along those lines. They flat out attack and jeopardize the lives of their own people. The Quarians had their chance, and they blew it.

I get that. But again, it's an archetype that's been around for a lot of enemies. Droids, drones, borgs, and Androids from all kinds of movies and games motivated by what they're programmed or controlled to do instead of what's right. And I guess their arms are similar but otherwise a common concept. It wasn't a bad idea, just need to see that there's plenty of examples of this. Just as how you saw the Vex in the Geth, you could see the Geth in hundreds others.

The small droids from starwars look like children vex lol the ones that mess with the hover car junk and they fold up

oh, the Geth had a heart! Many were sad that their creators were waging war against them. They were confused and sad and lonely. Those poor geth. The others that became angry and turned to the Reapers for guidance did so for the same reasons. They just found a different outlet for their affections. Poor, poor misundesrtood Geth. Also ignore the trolls. They have been humping lately and are multiplying rapidly. Just get a torch. The fire may help to keep them at bay. "MAY"
