vex look identical to geth?
Is it me or the geth and vex look and seem similar
Bit tryna hate on bungie though. What are your thoughts?

The similarities are actually pretty deep; they're both cyclopoid, hive-minded robots that worship an eldritch abomination and make gurgley electronic noises when they die. They use similar swarm tactics, and have very similar unit organization. I'm by no means calling them rip-offs, (all fiction is derivative by nature), but it's not hard to get the idea that the geth provided some inspiration for our favorite time traveling pain-in-the-asses.

Quite similar, yes. But instead of nanofiber muscles, they seem purely mechanical.

Two similarities: one red eye and they're both robots. Big woop.... As many others have commented; those two similarities alone can be linked to literally hundreds if not thousands of other robot types over many, many years

Geth? I was getting more of a super battle droid/magna guard vibe. You know, Star Wars. Either way, they look to be a worthy opponent.

Not really. They're body types have key differences. Sure they have one eye and metal plating. I tend to look more closely than that though. Don't want to be robo racist and say they all look the same.

The geth have a much more biosythetic look about them, whereas the Vex evoke a much more machine-like feel with the hammered bronze look. Sure, they both have glowy monocular vision, but if that's what we're basing things off of that covers quite a few robots in fiction.
