It's not console, it's playstation. Xbox numbers are very low for destiny & most Xbox users are on current gen thanks to series S allowing easy upgrade & being more serious gamers. Playstation have around 50% still on PS4, partly due to the cost of the ps5 & partly due to them not realising that if they stopped buying skins every month they'd have a ps5 in 6 months & of course there's serious ps gamers but a lot of ps players are super casual, & really don't care about upgrading as PS4 still plays most games. I've noticed this for the longest time. If I load a solo tower, I land in 15 secs, if I land in a pc/Xbox heavy tower I land in 30 secs, however if it's a PSN heavy tower it's 3-4 mins before I land, if there's PSN fireteams involved it can literally take 10 mins.
