Give us an option to turn of cross play like literally every other game
I'm a pc player, and without fail, damn near every single console player I play against in the crucible is teleporting around the map/rubber banding everywhere. It is beyond unbearable to play against.
I know for damn sure that console players would also prefer to not play against PC players, because that means they would face less cheaters and sweats.
As a PC player, there's nothing I can do about facing cheaters and sweats, that comes with playing on PC. However, mixing in McDonalds wifi console players makes the experience even worse. I honestly do not care if load times are longer. I am willing to wait longer if I get better matches.

1 Respuestai don't really care about pvp yeah a lot of time console players have a bad connection cuz console is trash for stability and etc etc, but the thing i hate about forced crossplay is the F tower load times

So if I set up D2 to run on controller on PC (which requires a game restart to swap), I would be playing with Console players. If I set up D2 to run on M/K, I play against other PC players... It's literally that simple.

I am willing to wait longer if I get better matches.[/quote] Considering matchmaking would push you to a completely separate pool where its only players with it disabled, you'd be waiting a while regardless - you'd only match with PC players that also have it disabled. How long/how difficult it would be to find a game would depend on how they handle it though, currently there are 4 matchmaking pools (crossplay enabled console, Xbox only, PS only, PC). If they treat each PC platform as its own thing that grows it to 6 pools - if they treat them as one and exclude console from it then its 5.

I reckon 99% of the cheats I report are on console. When you can just plug in a device you get at the game store, it's easy to cheat. And that's how they justify it as well.

I can turn crossplay off on ps4 but have never had the patience to wait as for something like iron banner it takes forever. But that does make me question the notion that I'll only be matched with pc players if they're in a party with a console player, as that must be happening all the time for the queue times to be so short. 🤔
