Hold up. Remember the statistics Bungie put out right before SBMM came in? That was the worst point because player interaction was so low that it caused alarm in the company and prompted the change because PvP was actually about dead, and its been better since, though there are still plenty of issues, lag being the most notable, and its bad. That is on Bungie though, because they failed to prepare for the future in a game they knew would be a continuous work for years. They got overambitious and screwed themselves and their playerbase in the process because they apparently don't have common sense there. If you know the game will go for years, it should be the first thought to make sure as much of it is as flexible and easily updated as possible. If they can't do that then they shouldn't even start a project like Destiny 2. Its their job to make sure the system its built with can evolve with the game, and they just plain failed. I wonder if it was even a consideration?
