It’s not really that it’s not GOOD (apart from chaos accelerant), because it is. It’s just boring and lacks any real flavor. It’s effective, but boring. There’s no real specialization happening like with the other void subclasses. And Shadebinder is mediocre at best and wayyy overrated. Why wait for enemies to be frozen when they’d be dead in half the time with literally anything else? It does nothing but slow the game down without any real payoff. Your reward for freezing an entire room? You got to wait twice the time for things to be dead and had to use extra steps to get them there. Stasis as a whole needs a load of reworks if it’s going to keep up with light 3.0. Even look at the super. It’s literally a worse version of nova warp with extra steps added in to make sure you’re even less effective; it is the worst super at freezing imo and only excels when enemies are EXTREMELY packed. Otherwise, it’s only a bit better than daybreak (all of this is geared toward PvE).

Wow....maybe you shouldn't play warlock if that's your take fam. The whole point of shadebinder is crowd control and there's no subclass that's better at it than shadebinder. if you think voidwalker is boring then don't use it. I've seen plenty of people absolutely body a group of people with voidwalker. It just sounds like you don't know how to set your kits up. I know I've personally gotten numerous multikills and have shot supers using suppression nade and child of the old gods.

I’m guessing you missed the part where I said I was referring only to PvE? Golden gun and PvP are irrelevant to any of my points. I mean it’s all just my own opinion, you don’t have to like it. I know how to set it up fine, but as I said, it’s just boring and lacks real identity compared to the other two void subclasses. It’s also the only all around effective subclass on warlock, again in my own opinion. Stasis is again, half baked at best, which is again, my own opinion. You can love it all you like, and yeah it is wonderful at CC when using the gloves. All I’m saying is in a game like this going through all of those extra steps just slows us down when there are tools anywhere else that get the job done faster and more effectively. But again, that’s just my own opinion. 🤷🏻‍♂️
