Makes no sense even in the slightest. Push HC metas, now pulse/scout meta, but steer super clear from any AR meta?
-
They're afraid of year 1 all over again. When uriels gift ran supreme
-
Editado por Ferus Lux: 8/14/2022 3:18:14 AMThat lasted until Warmind when Graviton Lance, and V-wing took over. Also, even during the alleged Uriels meta, Mida Multi was still dominant for laning because TTK's were still too long and Antiope-D was around to destroy anything in close to midrange. So did AR's ACTUALLY run the meta? Bungie has a warped memory.
-
According to them they did 🤣. There was a brief stint were I do remember uriels being really good but what's mostly burned in my memory is mida running the field for that first year.

Editado por hate n payne: 8/13/2022 6:54:28 PMPlayers arent using ARs as frequent as they do Pulse Rifles and Hand Cannons whether it is in Trials or Control. The evidence is already there. Stop acting delusional and be realistic. Highest usage rate by archetype: Summoner: 0.513% Austringer: 4.07% Piece of Mind: 2.61% Jade Rabbit: 2.10% Main Ingredient: 2.04 Beloved: 3.03% Without Remorse: 2.42% Le Monarque: 1.22% Drang: 1.13% Funnelweb: 1.15% Coldheart: 0.0355% It is best in class and map played that determines what most players used when playing in a game determined by an imbalanced of loadouts. Best options and best stats will always supercede anything in the game bar none and the ones listed currently above are exactly that. From the ones listed above, which of these have remain relevant during multiple seasons?? I can ensure you it isnt the ARs. It is either an exotic, Hand Cannon, a few special weapon archetypes and maybe a Pulse Rifle.
-
Thats what a lot of ppl have said. Specifically pointing out the uriels gift meta in year one. That being said, bungie has proven time and again the can separate pvp and pve buffs.
-
True enough. Why be scared of META that is truthfully more fun and balance than the Hand Cannon or Scout Rifle META?? The worse META we could ever experience is the Pulse Rifles.
-
A lot of people hate AR meta
-
Editado por hate n payne: 8/13/2022 7:00:38 PMThere are probably more Hand Cannons despiser than Auto Rifles. Personally, I rather each archetype have a shot in the game period without the need to aim for a META. I feel like a META in D2 should be buildcrafted versus a setup that is granted by Bungie due to lack of true balancing or META shifts.
-
Agreed 100%

Editado por hate n payne: 8/12/2022 5:09:57 PMAnother player who understands what they want. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Salute.
-
Lol yep! We’re on the same page 🍻
-
Straight facts. I'm sick of hc's being so dominant in pvp anyway, not that I play much of it.
-
Editado por BOSSNONO254: 8/12/2022 5:49:59 PMSo true. But at least pulse rifles like darkest before, horrors least, piece of mind, and to come to a surprise, Bad Juju all put up a good fight against hand cannons. But nonetheless, I do want to see a buff in autos that will at least be good enough to use more often, whilst also not being to overpowered in PvP. I myself prefer precision frame autos. As I used to run with an almost stability god roll Shadow Price(Adept) in PvP. And man that would just mow people down. The crit was almost always spot on!
-
I used to play PVP a lot and even I hated how often you fought someone with a Hand Cannon. This is coming from someone who has always enjoyed 110s before they were 120s and 180s. I was never a fan of 150s when they were available except for Sunshot and that has a lot to do with the aesthetics and the explosions it provides.
-
I fully understand why ppl don't want a year 1 450 meta. But since bungie out right nuked them after that they have been terrible since. Now I do know recently here they've had a few pvp tweaks but have been all but forgotten in pve. And it's a real shame because out side of patrols and maybe normal strikes they are out right terrible.
-
Editado por hate n payne: 8/12/2022 3:36:55 PMYea but players have to realize that the reason they were potent had everything to do the double primary system and the unbalance the game always goes through. Players cannot allow something from the past to dictate the future especially when it comes to video games. I mean the META has changed so often throughout the years that maybe 450s would be a good change of pace for once.
-
The meta, you mean shotties, fusions and hand cannons for 95% of the time.
-
😂😂😂 You get the idea. Most players are sick of fighting the same generic style of METAs in PVP like we are tired of playing the same content with no rewards being given unless you no life content.
-
Especially considering hc's have been one of the best choices for how long now? Years at least..
-
Exactly. If there is any META we should be scarred from, it is Hand Cannons. Hand Cannons and Shotguns have been the flavor for Destiny since the beginning yet players hate ARs more. It is weird.
-
They fear the power (or lack there of) of the 450s! Jokes aside I'm just as confused by it as you are.
-
Honestly, you are joking about it but it might be the truth. It is just strange that a game that is as diverse as Destiny is struggling to embrace fun and variety due to fear of specific METAs.
-
It's especially hilarious considering hc's have been meta for years now
-
It really is. It is like they dont want to compete with anything else because they have naive beliefs that Hand Cannons equal skill when the ease of use is high.
