I think you need to actually read the OP’s post
-
Maybe you should take your own advice?

I mean it’s excellent b8. I just had to comment to get it back at the top
Sorry you can’t farm wins by resetting your card now. Need a tissue?
Reading is fundamental.

Editado por Mister Wrecked: 10/29/2021 2:57:26 AMDid you read the partb of the twab where Bungie says that wasn't happening to a statistically significant degree?
-
That was for flawless card resets over three wins. What about resetting after every win? Or simply throwing the first game of a non mercy card and never resetting? I played a number of top players on crazy win streaks Sunday/Monday in the non flawless pool.
-
I mean, is it a crime to go for a 1x flawless and then just grind the mats as much as possible on a flawed card or one flawed after 7? Everyone can grind mats you know.
-
I think you’re miss understanding. What you just described is what bungie intend. You get your flawless, end up in a separate pool on Sunday and get extra rewards for post seven win card wins. What people were doing was not going flawless do exploit the matchmaking. The argument is pointless now anyway as they’ve removed it and rightfully so.
-
What I'm saying is that regardless of how you feel about it, people can just farm mats regardless of if they went flawless or not. Not only that but by any metric, literally almost 0% of people reset cards, they just went for game 7 grind. In what world is that unfair if they are all at game 7?

Editado por OIIerus: 10/30/2021 7:39:48 AMYou’re still miss understanding what I’m saying. The people grinding mats is fine. When you have duo’s doing carries with combined 600 flawless on 17+ win streaks in the non flawless pool. Something needs to change. That stat you’re referencing from the TWAB which was 0.5% of people reset unflawed cards only accounted for resets over three wins. What about people resetting after every win? What about people who intentionally through their first game on a non mercy card and then didn’t have to reset? They’ve picked a pretty specific data point that happens to be low.
-
The reason they did that (and so did the trials tracker guys) is because the cases you mentioned almost never happened. Makes no sense for anyone on the top percentile to reset at game 1. As for people doing carries, are you seriously going to complain that people helping others hit the light house try to make it easier on themselves? Sure, they can win against most teams, but without a solid 3rd matching against other good teams is a risky position. I do understand you, I just don't think your point of view considers all the possibilities. There are problems with both models, but I legitimately think this iteration of their *fix* is bad.
-
Why would you need to even farm when you will just be matched with crappy players....did you even read the twab?
-
The issue is for the people that can barely go flawless that take like 15 cards to do so, by then you would be at like 75 wins but still trying for flawless but now facing great players.
-
I get your point but the OP has a great one as well.
-
Well, just because you are doing that, doesn't mean everyone is. Some people are actually trying to go flawless and need to reset their cards multiple times....
-
I feel like op is on the other side of the argument… they’re not win farming but the one getting farmed.
