New Trials matchmaking
New trials matchmaking sounds horrible, a 25-0 team is now likely to face a 25-20 team? What sense does that make?

3 RespuestasIt would make more sense for them to look at win rates. Teams that win 80% of their games should play other teams that win 80% of there games and so on. That stacked with win based card matchmaking is a better solution but still garbage in general.

As a terrible player. My kd is like a 0.6KD. Lsst Monday I went freelance. Flawless pool was already active. I got 6 wins on the card. Lost on the 7th match. Getting 6 wins alone was fun. I was happy. I wanted jump back in as I feel im only 1 win away.

That is exactly what we don't need. I was hoping Bungie was going to assign teammates to solos and duos based on skill level (essentially making them a pseudo three stack) and then continuing with the current form of matchmaking. (https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/259960278/0/0) But no. The change from the TWAB doesn't look good on paper. Looks like a good way to get a temporary player base.

I literally never comment on these cringe forums but I just wanted to say UPVOTE THIS MANS POST because this man is right. THIS -blam!- IS -blam!-. Bungie HAD a great system, yeah it had the flaw of streamers resetting to get a carry through, but guess what, thats ONE possible L your taking, as opposed to every game being completely unbalanced like 25-0 vs a 25-20 team. nonflawless and flawless pool again. simple.

I played to 7 wins for the pinnacle and I have to say it was pretty bad. I was playing folks with flawless seals and 3 stacks while running solo. I’m not even close to being in the same league with those people. It blows my mind that skill isn’t taken into consideration at all.

2 RespuestasCompletely agree, I played 250 matches in solo queue all weekend. With a 50.8 win rate. That’s only because my last card, I went flawless. Now I’m stuck at 125 wins playing people who have won the same amount but at a 90% win rate! Just leave it alone. It’s so dumb.

2 RespuestasThere is still card based matchmaking though, so a 25-0 player is flawless and likely won’t face a 25-20 player unless that player is flawless at 7 wins

2 RespuestasI like it. Win farmers will rapidly get themselves into a pool with other farmers and also a “time limit” for bad players to reach the lighthouse. No more win resetting for me, now just quick flawlesses late in the week until i get too many wins.
