It’s a lot easier to hate on hunters than admitting to your own shortcomings. Hunters being “OP” gives you a ready-made excuse for doing bad against 50% of the crucible population. “It’s not me, it’s those pesky broken hunters”.

I mean when titans and warlocks get nerfed every time they get something that competes with hunters. Yet hunters remain untouched for years....yes it's easy to say hunters are broken because bungie always leaves them with a clear and dominant advantage over the other 2 classes. The main argument being "wElL HuNTeRs aRe bAd At pVe". Which again is bullshit.

Saying only Warlocks and Titans get nerfed straight away and Hunters don’t is either you being disingenuous or ignorant. How long did one-eyed mask go untouched? How long did top tree Dawn? It has nothing to do with the class and everything to do with the player. I’m every bit as capable on Warlock and Titan as I am on Hunter.

Hunters get "nerfed" it only takes them at least a year and then the "nerf" isn't nearly as impactful or heavy handed as nova warp, shadebinder, top tree storm trance, titan hammers. It took them a year to make top tree dawnblade even useable and less than that for them to nerf celestial fire, and make icarus dash useless. All because hunters couldn't stand the thought of 1 subclass being more mobile in the air than them. The entire identity of top tree dawn is air combat superiority but not anymore so thanks for that. Now hunters can keep bunny hopping in peace.

Can literally fly out of bounds and attack from angles nobody would ordinarily think to look at. You can rain down grenades and celestial fire for easy combo kills that give you ability energy back fast. You have the same icarus dash cooldown as Titans had with an exotic for free. And one of the best and most mobile supers in the game. And you think it’s not good anymore 🤦♂️

Pre-nerf, it had a high skill ceiling. Post nerf it's an added step for no reason. The super always has been and still is trash. The blades don't even register half the time. And it's not that great at air combat. Any good warlock knows that an airborne warlock is just an easy target. It takes so long for us to land. The dash was only ever used for mobility and to get the most out of it you'd use it like titan skating as opposed to being in the air and trying to dodge anything. Unlike hunter bullshit, it doesn't break tracking and aim assist.

you just sound to me like someone regurgitating someone else’s words and not playing the class for yourself, or maybe you don’t know how to play it effectively. Where’s the posts complaining that it’s been ruined? Nowhere, because it’s not been. It’s still my go to for PvP without question.

Just because you and a few other people use it doesn't mean that the adjustments were justified. Especially since they have yet to do anything about hunters but they never do.

Top Tree golden gun nerfed, blade barrage nerfed, spectral blades nerfed, flawless execution nerfed, dodge nerfed, weighted knife nerfed, withering blades nerfed, shatterdive nerfed (and going to be nerfed again), bottom tree arc strider nerfed, frostees nerfed, tempest strike nerfed, wormhusk nerfed, radiant dance machines nerfed, khepri sting nerfed. Plenty of -blam!- that needed to get nerfed got nerfed and there’s probably going to be more. The nerfed Top Tree Dawn because their data showed it was the best class in Trials be a long way. They never just listen to people on forums - they look at all the data they collect and then make decisions.

Thankfully so too, but it seems like they’re going to be a bit more active on the forum now. Which I’m sure not sure how I feel about yet exactly.
