Genuine question here; not trying to gaslight or anything like that. I’m genuinely curious to hear people’s reasoning’s.

Grossly overpowered class that is relentlessly coddled by bungie.

3 RespuestasI don't hate hunters, I find them a bit ludicrous if anything. The constant cries of 'Hunters are the worst class, Bungie doesn't love us etc' when over 80% of the player base play as that very same class. In a game where the very whisper that a weapon is OP means everyone immediately farms for it and runs it non stop, the idea that the same player base would choose to run the worst class is quite laughable.

4 RespuestasEditado por Interpol89: 10/1/2021 4:51:28 AMToday I saw a teammate punch a hunter at point blank range, and the hunter took zero damage because he dodged. I even heard the audio of the melee connecting. They also break tracking from grenades, weapons, aim assist and can become temporarily immune against some supers. This is without even going into the shatterdive BS.

1 RespuestaShatter dive is cheesy but honestly I have better numbers on Warlock bottom tree arc. I know, blasphemous *eye roll*. No one wants to admit every class has cheesy -blam!- or that sometimes you have to play around certain abilities.
-
I personally have no beef with them, but this is coming from someone who has one of each class.
-
Shatterdive, but I get it, if you can use it, why wouldn't you?

1 RespuestaEditado por CrimsonStarDrago: 10/2/2021 6:03:46 PMFor me it's that hunters as a class to me are really selfish. They bring almost nothing to the table for PVE other than bow and are generally a PVP class. That might just be me but it's only cause I play a more supportive role. I main Titan but also wish I could offer more healing like a warlock.

Editado por IAGNRG: 10/2/2021 1:17:04 PMI don’t think people hate them, rather there is a lot of dumb in the game and, because Hunters are overpopulated in pvp for example, they are what most people interact with, thereby having more negative interactions. All classes have bullshit, but there just happen to be more hunters.
-
I don't hate hunters. I hate people who think they are hunters in real life, who get so easily offended by everything anyone says on here.
-
People protect their cheese and tear down the cheese of others. Just use all 3 classes and use whatever cheese is hot at the moment.

11 RespuestasIt’s a lot easier to hate on hunters than admitting to your own shortcomings. Hunters being “OP” gives you a ready-made excuse for doing bad against 50% of the crucible population. “It’s not me, it’s those pesky broken hunters”.
-
I’ve been wondering this myself lately everyone wants to nerf their op ability into the ground but theirs are okay I don’t get it

7 RespuestasBecause the other 2 classes cant stand not being the only ones with 1HK abilities Titan shoulder charge tracks like a mfer and HHSN for locks is just as easy as glacier. I mained a lock in D1 and most of D2. Never had a problem with hunters, console or PC. Its just this community likes to complain about literally anything that outplays them. Unlike other games they cant just say "oh nice shot" or "damn, good play" its always "ThEyRe oP BuNgIe NeRf It!!!" until bungie caves and then then whatever it is gets absolutely destroyed and becomes virtually unusable anywhere for months because bungie doesnt know how to even spell balance. Only reason i use stasis hunter is for the extra stat points in PvE, if it wasnt for that id stick with the arc subclasd and just change it as needed. But so long as bungies giving free stat bonuses for basically nothing, count me in. But ive only been killed by the shatterdive maybe 5 times in PvP since i came back, so as usual its just something that got blown out of proportion.

Two words Shatter. Dive.

They hate us because they’re soft. No matter how much we get nerfed we find a way
😈😈😈😈 joke btw
4 RespuestasEditado por A Stormy Dio: 10/1/2021 5:39:13 PMAs a guy who usually attempts to be objective regarding classes, from my observations… -Hunters often are the most toxic. At least in game. Titans and Warlocks are toxic usually too, but it’s more often or not Hunters who T-Bag in 3 stacks, or well…complain on the forums. Again, I ain’t saying Titans and Warlocks are immune to this; just that Hunters usually follow this pattern. -Also the most likely to be super sweaty/run the meta. I almost always see a Hunter run some combination of Shotgun/120/140 HC. Maybe a Sniper sometimes, usually Eye of Sol. -People also often hate Hunters because their abilities feel like a case of being powerful without much downsides. Now, this is fine in PvE. In PvP however, it’s why you see people talk about nerfing Shatterdive, or Stompees for instance. This is just what I see. Not my personal opinion, but it’s from my observations.

7 RespuestasEditado por FL00FING AB0UT: 10/1/2021 1:15:09 PMDon’t hate Hunters, but I’ve always been a strong proponent that Hunter dodge is arguably the strongest class ability in Crucible (unaffected by Exotics, etc). The ability to dodge and escape death when you were caught dead to rights never sat well with me. Warlocks can somewhat with Icarus, but it requires altitude and requires a larger time input to get off. Titans, poor Titans having few movement abilities with dynamism. Shoulder charge only goes one way.

Editado por SolarCerberuS: 10/2/2021 2:09:00 AMI dont hate any class, I play all 3, but hunters are by far the easiest class to use in pvp imo and likely why the class is so popular. The dodge was made with pvp in mind and is quite usefull and can be used to get you into and/or out of engagements. Golden gun was quite obviously made for pvp as for pve it isnt that flash without the one shot wonder helm and one can set traps with tripmines or exploding knives, weighted knives are surprisingly easy to get kills with. Arc strider can block damage, close gap, reflect bullets/projectiles back to attackers (including snipes) and proceed to wipe a team easily once within range. Easy cleanup tracking nades and middle tree sliding melee is quite potent. Spectral Blades is another class built specifically for pvp, effectively allowing button mash multikills plus invis to sneak up on opponents. Blinding nades too can be useful Then theres Revenant the hands down outlier pvp easymode of the game, any blind drunk, thumbless, braindead player could easily get kills with it. Shatterdive although I can avoid it is an easy kill ability with very little risk to use for its kill potential. Even the Hunter focus stat mobility is a pvp focused stat, as Its not a necessary component for pve activity. Now Im not saying they are stronger than Titans or locks but they are definitely easier to learn and play with successfully in pvp.

Editado por TheArtist: 10/1/2021 5:30:32 PMI don't hate hunters. I'm just tired of Bungie catering to them, and the worst aspects of their collective personality. But that's on Bungie. As a warlock main, I'm tired of my toys in PVE being broken by Bungie in response to complaining by players (mainly Hunters) in PvP.

i dont "hate" hunters. key word is hunters. i hate stasis, its a crutch and im sick of people saying it is, the game would be so much harder and so much more fun without it in both PvP and PvE. Also you hear of more people hating hunters because its the most played class
-
I don’t. Im just a simple man, I like to punch- so I play titan
-
Most classes just want theirs to be op Warlocks will always hate hunters and Titans Titans hate hunters and warlocks Hunters hate warlocks and Titans
