Then I guess you won't be playing destiny again. Anything associated with D2 on battle.net, (characters and licenses) are gone. You received emails, there were notices on social media, it was mentioned several times in This Week at Bungie. You had over 14 months to migrate.

Both Bungie and Blizzard tried to contact you by email on multiple occasions. Bungie also ran a high profile information campaign on PC gaming sites and magazines. It is not Bungie's or Blizzard's fault if you ignored these emails or did not see/read any news article covering the transfer. Also.. the base D2 game and all the year 1 dlc became free to play shortly after the transfer to Steam. The fact that most of the base D2 campaign and the year 1 dlc were later removed from the game has no impact on you. Only if you bought Forsaken would you lose any money. At the end of the day Bungie and Blizzard did everything they could but if you could not be bothered to tell them where you wanted everything to be transferred to they are not mind readers. In fact the Bungie and Blizzard in the end gave everyone 2 extra months over the original 12 month window which gave you 14 months in total to do the transfer in.
