If it has been more than a few business days the answer is your appeal was rejected and the ban stands

Really? That's extremely disheartening. I want to play Destiny so badly but I don't know if I can handle rebuying every DLC and regrinding every activity. Not to mention all the exclusive content I've collected over the years.

When you started. Intent. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon.

My point was your original comment was unnecessary and insensitive. Loosing thousands of hours is depressing and while I'm trying to digest I'll never play on that account again you come out here all self righteous like I got what I deserved. If you're not going to be helpful to the thread, don't bother posting on it.

Simple facts.... You had a cheat program active while playing Destiny. We only have your word that it was not you but your brother. Bungie can not take action against a person but can and will (in your case did) take action against a account that cheats. From the start Bungie has said account security is the player's responsibility. So... account cheated... account banned.

You mean a cheat program that has been detected for over a year, one that is known to cause the banhammer, one that doesn't even work in the first place? Not sus at all. If I wanted to cheat I'd just go to any of the other cheats Bungie has been to incompetent to deal with.

Makes no difference. A cheat program is a cheat program even if it does not work. It makes no difference who put it on your PC just that it was there and ACTIVE.

Evidently not active as evidenced by the only game I got to play that day. Maybe one precision kill and definitely a negative KD... It's fine if they won't unban my account. I made it easy for them to realize I was oblivious from all the data I compiled. There's no motive and no actual use of the aimbot. It wasn't even one somebody would use in 2020 as it's been detected for ages. Of course my 12 year old brother doesn't care about that. If Bungie is going to be lazy and blatantly ignore the massive case I made for my account, that's on them. I did all I could. Everyone saying it's my fault would only back this statement until the same happened to them. Then they too would understand the injustice of the situation. I put all the evidence in front of them necessary to make it clear I was not at fault, but they saw hAcKs and decided no further investigation was necessary. If Bungie Help is that lazy then it's not my problem, there's nothing I can do.

I could've done that ages ago had they simply made an automated email to alert you when your appeal is rejected. Alternatively they could've just had it written clearly that if you don't receive a response that means that you have been rejected. They don't say that, instead they tell you that you won't necessarily receive a response from a Bungie employee and thank you for your patience. If you don't see the problem here then there's nothing I can do for you.

It won't change anytime soon. Unless you want to ban a few of the more famous streamers.

This is a forum intended to help people and you didn't try and help people you just came on being a self righteous jerk so I'm not quite sure what part of your redundant comment was warranted. I didn't create this post so other players who should have my back can tell me I got what I deserve like I did something wrong by not expecting a 12 year old to pull something like that.

Doesnt matter if it was someone else on your account. Your account is your sole responsibility. If someone else logged in and done something that's down on you.
