Back in April, I was playing Destiny. I hopped on to play some survival. After one match I went downstairs to eat some breakfast and when I came back up and launched Destiny, my account was banned. I couldn't figure out what happened until my brother confessed that he had installed some free aimbot software that I was unaware of to try and play a prank on me. If you look back to my last crucible match, you'll see I barely hit any of my shots. I got a few kills at best.
I have accomplished plenty on my own in PvP. I find my fun in constantly working to get better and feeling the satisfaction of performing well of my own accord. I have never wanted to cheat nor have I ever felt the need to do so.
My Destiny account is under TruthTrek (PS4 and Steam through cross save). I submitted a Bungie Request the very same day I was banned but I have yet to hear back. My Case ID is 23166. I have talked to my brother and he has stated that he can send Bungie a formal apology and admission of his "prank" if this would help me recover my account.
I have had this account since summer of 2015. These are my Destiny 1 characters that have been my escape for years. I just ask that my thousands and thousands of hours of work not be in vain. I have never given up on this franchise. I just want desperately to be apart of my community again.
Under the circumstances that my appeal is rejected, my account gone and my hours deletes, I at least request that I be told so as then I can stop wondering.

20 RespuestasIf it has been more than a few business days the answer is your appeal was rejected and the ban stands

It's very unfortunate that your brother caused your account to be banned, but it isn't going to be un-banned. There was cheat software running while Destiny was played so ZERO chance of an appeal being successful All you can do is move on to another game or start Destiny 2 again on a new account

8 RespuestasYou had some crazy games on Trials of Osiris around 2 months ago, in those games you were playing with someone that had an abnormal efficiency, like really abnormal. If i remember correctly bungie changed their policy towards cheating, so now, everyone in the team is liable to get banned, not only the cheater, unless you report them.

2 RespuestasWhat you request is irrelevant. Bungie does not have to provide a reason.
