Idk.
I was a fan of the concept.
It was a first time attempt.
If there ever is a next time they just need to look at the tens of thousands of comments related to both:
-The "grace period" to allow people on before the initial streaks appeared in the sky. The time it took for the attack to actually reach the Almighty should have been the grace period. Nothing before. They should've popped up at the schedule time, plain and simple.
-The long drawn out nature of the event. This could've easily been 3-5x as short (not including the 40 minutes prior to start) and given the same 60-75 second WOAH factor.
Cutscenes are good. This is good too. It was just implemented poorly.

I agree, but 2 hours??? Yeah no

It was closer to an hour for actual visible progress of the event. If they had clarified there would be a half hour waiting period after the 10:00 Pacific starting time to allow more people on, it wouldn't have been so bad. There's probably a lot of people that waited the full 90-100min.

I say max, 15 mins after a 30 min grace period. I don’t want to sit from 12:45 to 2:30 to watch that. And there was only one huge chunk at the end. I didn’t even see the chunk that hit near eververse.
