I know they are different, but the destruction alone in Battlefield, probably does more calculating than Crucible alone.
One control point in Battlefield is larger than a Crucible map. Then there are vehicles and 64 man servers.
Let's not pretend that the know how is not there, whether Bungie chooses not to use it, is something else.

The key difference between destiny and any other game with large maps is the amount of detail and types of objects and renders used If you pay close attention, destiny locations are very very well detailed Even if you find good details in other games, it going to be repetition .. not unique. I'm not defending their choices, but nothing is going to change until D3

Have you not played Battlefield 5? Its way more detailed than that of Destiny 2 and 10X the size with way more going on. And I'm talking textures with 4K@60fps. Destiny 2 has cartoon graphics in comparison. Yeah Destiny 2 want see any upgrades.
-
Yeah you can't really compare both engines because D2 engine is significantly older, (about 5 years now) Which is the reason I want them to release d3 already, or at least start working on it

Editado por Puma Kane: 4/16/2020 2:20:37 PMBut Battlefield 1 came out a year before Destiny 2 and looks better after receiving a patch to put it @4K60. Battlefield 5 came out a year after Destiny 2.

Hmm. Interesting. Didn't know that. Tbh, the 30pfs lock should be gone by now, it was forced upon bungo by fücking Sony => Activision Now that they are free, they should try to bring 60 fps to console , the Xbox X and ps pro at least

Editado por Puma Kane: 4/16/2020 3:03:02 PMThat would be nice, unfortunately that would divide us from the folks still using OEM Xboxs and PS4s. Imagine the forums with 60fps vs 30fps🤣 It would be all over the news. lol

Lmaooooo 😂😂😂 Totally forgot about that ... Jeeeez That would be the news for one year minimum. Dude, good luck explaining software and hardware limitations to a 7th or 8th grader😂
