PvP LARGE SCALE BATTLES?
Awesome job w/Story.
May we have large maps for large Fireteams in PvP 10 v 10 or 20 v20, Vehicles, ships even?!
Could incorporate Factions. Our Clans, but what Faction, for What cause in the Destiny World. Lore? Fame, because its online with our Gamertag, Love,Competion, or for just Points(Score)?! An addon if too big. Done right Im willing to pay $60-100 money.

So, basically Im hearing the biggest issue as with any PvP mode is preventing lagg, and cheaters.

If bungie cant even manage 3v3 then how is 10v10 or 20v20 gonna work? And with the so called “storage problem”, destiny cant actually get any bigger without cutting content.

It takes 20 mins to find a 6v6 game (SBMM or CBMM) how long would it take to find a say 12v12 game?

1 RespuestaMate, Destiny could barely run 4v4 and they still decided to pump it up to 6v6. Not to mention that the numbers are already stretched thin, good luck filling a 20v20 lobby...

I agree... but what a yard sale it would be, Bungie cannot even handle 6v6! Also, their old ash technology couldn’t handle it.

1 RespuestaI like the idea...just spitballing here. It should be it’s own planet... maybe ad a faction flavor to it on the side of good. Most importantly, the enemy is a enemy (Hive, Vex,....) meaning players can choose to start and develop a new “creep” (is a new class like a Hunter) and there is a leveling aspect and skill tree with this. If vex (start/level/play a goblin, Minotaur, ...). Can summon a Hydra some how for a battle... Nutshell, good guys (Guardian with faction prestige impacts) versus “Creeps” players as Vex or Hive. it’s a world map, strongholds across it. Holding a stronghold(s) provides a global buff (damage, healing...) to either side, to help level out combat populations. Meaning if there are 3/5 strongholds held by the enemy they get bonus x.p. and perhaps it opens up a special encounter on the map with good loot if the raid teams defeat it. Meanwhile the risk of doing the special encounter is that the other side can sneak and take back a stronghold. Raid parties of 12 (max). Multiple raid parties good and evil running around the map. Some Mobs good and bad scattered around points of interest, and for bounties.

Combined arms was fun, but yeah big team battles from Halo seem like a no brainer.

I agree it would be great, but this game could never run it. It’s already unstable enough with 3v3 matches in Trials, and even more so with 6v6 in quickplay. Stick another 8 to 28 people in there, and the game will literally fall apart.

Disagree. The game engine just isn't set-up to do that. D1 had a PvP mode with vehicles but it kind of sucked. I also disagree, I would not pay money for just an arena based shooter like Black Ops IV. They charged pull price for 2/3's of a game and where the missing 1/3 (all the video cut scenes and multiple levels) is the portion that costs the most to develop. As a Destiny 3 feature, sure. But don't short change me on the campaign or other content.

That would crash the servers, probably Also it would be pretty chaotic, a single nova bomb getting 15 kills? I don’t think it would be a good idea.
