Mods are cheats. Ask bungie if you can use mods in their game. They will tell you no..because it is cheating.

You can infact mod Skyrim and many singleplayer games and they even sell mods. Team Fortress 2 is another example, you can use mods they just turn it off for their servers. Or cs1.6 or source, i can install a million mods and play on any server i want and won't get a ban. Learn the difference between a mod a cheat and a mod-cheat. Seriously it's not rocket science.

Modding litterally means adding something that isnt in the game. What do you think god mode and infinite ammo and wallhacks are? They are additions added to the game that are not normally in the game. Sure some games allow mods...some games also allow cheats...does that mean they are different? NO. Both are cheats for a game and have been since FOREVER. Games allowing mods doesnt change the fact that mods are cheats.

It litterally is the same thing. Both add things to the game that are not in it naturally. The definition of cheating is. Cheating in video games involves a video game player using various methods to create an advantage beyond normal gameplay, in order to make the game easier. Cheats may be activated from within the game itself (a cheat code implemented by the original game developers), or created by third-party software (a game trainer or debugger) or hardware (a cheat cartridge). They can also be realized by exploiting software bugs; So litterally what mods do.

Mods are mods. A call of duty knife model won't make you kill faster. A new campaign for skyrim won't make the game easier. Getting back cut things for stalker won't make you a god (well unless it's a pretty good armor). Cheats are cheats. Aimbot will aim for you Wallhacks will show your enemies to you. God mode will make you unkillable. Stop this. You clearly have no idea what are you talking about.

I just posted the litteral definition which proves you wrong...and it was taken directly from wikipedia. Adding ANYTHING into a game or messing with save files is cheating. Messing with the ingame code ...AKA modding falls under cheating as well.. The fact that some developers allow it doesnt change that fact. You have been proven wrong.
