Forsaken was the BEST Destiny expansion ever, completely reviving D2 and thriving with TONS of things to do, guns to chase, and mysteries to solve. Since then, the three seasons after were great minor additional seasons to the game, adding to the still relevant Forsaken at the time, especially the menagerie which should get improved upon. Afterwards, Shadowkeep was kind of a bust, along with these desert seasons afterwards. Pretty sure Fortnite has more to do than D2 right now. Take this away from this post please Bungie!
•Make old content relevant (menagerie, old raids, gambit even, shattered throne, Dreaming City)
•Add new weapons to the loot pool, BETTER DEVILS HAS BEEN IN THE GAME SINCE LAUNCH GIVE US A RESET
•Give is something meaningful to do, to chase, to grind

1 Respuestaare you asking bungie to work... Bless you xD

2 RespuestasThe Forsaken writing lead (Jill Scharr) & other Bungie devs all departed (pushed?) Bungie within 3-5 months of Forsaken Then Activision studios (High Moon & Vicarious Vision) left Chances of another Forsaken (the high point of a poor D2 lifespan - although it wasn’t perfect with the enhancement core fiasco) is slim to none Bungie don’t care about quality...just FOMO model & Eververse cash!

4 RespuestasForsaken was utterly brilliant as an expansion, everything that Destiny should be. The fact that the Dreaming City was introduced as an endgame destination that also featured the raid was brilliant, I wish they'd done that with Shadowkeep and the Black Garden as well.
-
2 RespuestasNot going to lie, my favorite Destiny expansion was Rise of Iron.
-
1 RespuestaI’m sorry, did you say eververse? Cause that’s all bungo is interested in.
-
2 RespuestasWhy, Forsaken was made by a Skylander's studio that understands, co-op, fun, and rewards. Bungie made Shadowkeep, BEST FPS CAMPAIGN EVER!!! just finished the step where I had to play new strike and now I have to get 25 sniper kills. Too many brilliant ideas! If anyone missed it, it's sarcasm and I'm not finishing the Shaowkeep campaign, though I may replay Forsaken one day.

27 RespuestasNah I want another TTK.

1 Respuestaadds new hand cannon Best Devils to loot pool

I would take Rise of Iron over Shadowkeep. At least the Raid was actually related to the story of the expansion, directly. That, and it brought more than two new armour sets, and the armour sets it brought looked amazing. You know, unlike the -blam!- flee market space grandma shite we got in shadowkeep.

12 RespuestasThe sad thing is a mediocre release like forsaken is seen as great because everything is so terrible

Or Taken King but, you know

I'll disagree with your statement that it was the best expansion ever, but it was the best time in D2. Then again that's not saying much because it was minor polish of a god awful game state. So no I don't want another Forsaken. I want a Taken King, Rise of Iron, or Age of Triumph. Then again in D2 an expansion on anything like that would probably just be awful.
-
The 2 studios who put most of it together left with activision.
-
It has already been forsaken.
-
Well guess there is no one left to realise something like that. It's way too much for an interns work.
-
I'd happily pay 60 bucks for another forsaken. I haven't dropped a dime into everse.

5 RespuestasEditado por The Hermit IX: 4/11/2020 11:54:36 PMForsaken was brilliant. Bring back the team that made Forsaken happen. By far the best state of D2 so far and it’s not even close.
-
I was late to Destiny 2 (Xbox One), getting it in October 2019, having played Destiny a lot back in the day (PS4). Only recently completed the Forsaken campaign and today finished Cayde's Will.

For $80 probably....

Call it Re-saken and bring back Cayde

8 RespuestasEditado por redmosquito87: 4/12/2020 9:32:00 AMI think we will get a Forsaken style expansion or larger in fall of 2021. All those rumors about D3, about light vs dark guardians, pvevp patrol spaces etc, will come in a major expansion to D2, with the Veil being the major storyline. I think Bungie will start destroying planets in the story (like some of the most recent YT videos) and take away the vanilla locations and start introducing new ones with this fall’s expansion. I also think we have 4 more years of content drops in D2 and we will not get D3 as by 2025 Bungie will have moved completely onto their next project. I don’t see why they would build a complete new game/engine for a D3, I think we get D2 through a year 7 and Destiny will be over (story wise).
-
13 RespuestasD3 will happen to move the story forward. Ppl say D2 is the last really don't have any real data or input to make that claim
-
While I think everyone would want it, that's much easier said than done. Music, art, voice acting, a whole unique raid, making those worthwhile secrets, a whole unique dungeon, whipping up a story, everything put together would be real expensive, and would take pretty much a year minimum, and only if Bungie stretched their people thin. Game dev takes a long time.

It’s time to let it die. Let it go. Let it go. Let it go.
