Game sharing has always been a feature of the consoles, and bungie never specifically supported it. It’s not that they are scamming you, it’s that it’s a side effect of how they implemented the system

??? They never supported it, it just happened to work all the way up until now? How would you describe not mentioning taking away how something's worked for the last 5 years and letting people find out after they've bought it? Sounds like a scam to me
-
Yes, it has worked up until now because of the way dlcs worked, other games work this way too. The dlcs check if the product is installed, which can be done through game sharing. The season passes check for account ownership I believe, so only accounts who purchased the dlc gets it. Bungie never officially supported it, so they didn’t announce it would be changing, they may not have even tested it.

I get (slightly) the technicalities in how it has changed, but i'd be surprised if they didn't have some idea it might be affected. In saying that, seeing how their 'maintenance' breaks the game at times, you may well be right. Fair play my dude, thank you for your civil (and reasonable) reply

Editado por Cinderchar: 12/3/2019 5:00:12 PMI think it's just up to each individual to decide who they think Bungie are. Are the liars? Are they just ignorant? Maybe they are overwhelmed? Is not being proactive a quality you really like in a company? Anyway you cut it, Bungie just isn't run very well. Whether they do a lot of these things kinds of things on purpose or not, it looks bad from both ends to be honest.

So true. The worst thing about it is i used to be a fully paid up bungie fanboy in the halo days. They seemed like the ultimate company in my eyes, sort of gamers done good kind of thing. They reminded me of the old 'bedroom coders' but had managed to make a good well-respected company out of it. Now they're just -blam!-.

I think what I said is more likely (hopefully), but with the state of eververse at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it to get more season purchases lol
I think what I said is more likely (hopefully), but with the state of eververse at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it to get more season purchases lol
It gets them less. The change was made it so that people don’t have to buy it multiple times to get the season when cross saving.

It does make you wonder doesn't it, lol. I do get the impression they are slowly but surely porting it over to being a pc only title.
