My husband and I play together. If we had known that only one of us could use the season pass we would have saved $20 and not gotten it at all. A lot of people have been having the same issues where they are in the same household. If this is the direction this game is going then we probably won't be buying anymore products from you if all you are after is money. We have always shelled out our hard erned money for a game we love to play but we have kids and can NOT afford to buy things two times.

It's rather obvious that bungie is getting quite desperate. Eververse gets more attention than the entire rest of the game combined. The cost of items in eververse is extortionate, while bright dust economy is at an all time low. Combined with FOMO, players are coerced to pay real money to get full sets of eververse items. No game sharing, forcing families to buy multiple copies of the game, even when they live in the same house. Content drops will be diminished "because we no longer have the backing of Activision." (yet eververse gets constant updates) The game is going entirely FOMO. This negative, punishment-based line of thinking is not the creative, positive thinking of a winning game developer with the respect and love of their player base. This is what comes from people who have made far too many excuses for their mistakes, and are now completely comfortable with their flawed system. Until bungie realizes they can't just blunder their way into the future with no respect for their community, the best they will ever do is convince kids and new players to spend their money. But in the end, even these people will stop being controlled by fear. And then there will be none.

Their are some real hypocrites in this forum.

23 RespuestasEditado por drew012278: 12/3/2019 12:49:34 PMI think it’s very easy to pick apart this person when you don’t actually have kids and all the monetary needs that come with that. Which is what the replies wreak of. A bunch of kids talking out of their butts. One even made a comparison to a car.....which on average in the US is worth 10’s of thousands of dollars..........tho to be fair that one was probably in their twenties just as bad imo......but that’s like comparing 1 apple to a 2 truck loads of apples Anyways Bungie did make a change. A change people aren’t happy with. Well ANOTHER change people aren’t happy with. My suggestion don’t reply if YOU don’t personally get where this person is coming from. It’s so tiring watching people pick someone apart not having any idea where they are coming from. Ooof

1 RespuestaThey are in the business of making money....if you can afford $20 every time a new season pass comes up, then don't buy 2. It's called being an adult and managing your household wisely.

2 RespuestasGameshare it

Editado por IchBinBatmanO0o: 12/6/2019 12:08:20 PMFor me and my Girlfriend one reason more not to buy. Its a bit like you would pay twice to play with someone a CouchCoopGame

Very scammy from Bungie to be so customer unfriendly, they never really think before its too late.

Editado por moonprincess623: 12/5/2019 1:14:31 PMThink about this: you are employing Bungie. You aren't just getting rewards with the season pass, you are unlocking content a well. The raid, Sundal, etc. Its $10 DLC add-on (like if you yoy House of Wolves or The Dark Below). Most other games are more money for a season. You probably spent more than that on the annual pass. I am not saying that you are wrong: it would be nice to game share especially since Bungie wasn't up front about it and life can make it so you can't do 2. You shouldn't be punished for that. I feel this is a two way street. We aren't paying monthly to play like FF14 or other online games. Bungie has the right to charge for the game. But at the same time game share should work. What makes me think this is different than before it maybe it's an add-on. Some stuff you can purchase and share from the PS store, but others you can't. Maybe this falls into that category now. Idk.

I can't even see the coming dlc for sale in p.s store let alone a season pass.
-
2 RespuestasPaying customers are the reason we have this game. The devs have expenses, too.
-
5 RespuestasI can’t believe you’re buying One. It’s a joke now!!!
-
1 RespuestaThe problem is that Bungie changed their policy on shareable content midway through the life of the game without making it clear at the point of sale. Posts about the change buried in the forum are not adequate since most people play Destiny without ever coming to these forums.
-
5 RespuestasBuh... Isn't... Like... Wait... Isn't that the point of... You know... Purchasing something? It's so ridiculous that I have to purchase a house for myself. Everyone in my family should get for free!
-
I hope you and your husband find better times and can afford an extra $10, sincerely. That's a rough place to be and everyone deserves a little room for a hobby activity. Ignore the trolls, they wouldn't understand hardship if had a neckbeard and sweat for no reason.

2 RespuestasWhat are you talking about? Why on earth would it apply to a household?
-
14 RespuestasJust to clarify: game sharing is a promotion that Sony & Microsoft use to boost their console sales. Bungie doesn't benefit from it, & you've been effectively gaming the system for years.
-
2 RespuestasAgreed, it is ridiculous to have to buy multiple season passes for the same household!!!!!
-
You really don’t want to buy one, period.
-
66 RespuestasTotally agree. Sadly your post is likely to be mass down-voted. The forum now seems to be inhabited by: 1) a large number of hyper-consumerists who feel everyone should pay for everything. Typical comments include 'it doesn't matter that it used to be different', 'if you can't afford it, maybe you need to prioritise blah blah blah', 'why don't you just get a job' etc 2) bungie cult members, who feel that any money not going to bungie is akin to you walking in to a bungie staffer's house and pulling the food directly out of their starving baby's mouth. Typical comments include 'bungie are independent now, they need the money to pay for new content'

Editado por DHawk12: 12/4/2019 3:20:57 PMYou dont. You just need to buy the battle pass for each additional account ($10). The annual/seasonal content is gameshared just like everything else, just not the battle pass.
-
I actually wish DLC was account locked too, so I could carry them across platforms along with my account. I haven’t even finished the Shadowkeep story because I bought it for Xbox (my main online friend is on Xbox), but since my friend isn’t online much, I play on the superior console, PS4. So yeah, money not so well spent.

2 RespuestasI take issue with the season/yearly pass concept in general. Developers seem to take it as a way to release unfinished games, or at least to not release the full game and force us to pay for the content over time. Pick a mode FFS. Release a complete game followed by expansion packs. Or Make it a subscription based model. Just stop with the passes crap in general.
-
1 RespuestaPlayed once during Shadowkeep... so not worth it anymore for us. The constantly changing game format has finally lost me and I have little desire to get back in.
-
Editado por stoniwan: 12/3/2019 2:40:07 PMIt could at least be tied to a primary console, like dlc content is. I think that's what op is looking for here, which is reasonable.
-
Editado por MightyJandal: 12/3/2019 1:57:53 PMThis late in the games life cycle i totally agree. Repeat charging for reskinned content already paid for in full...that’s some top tier bs right there.

7 RespuestasYeh my girlfriend was excited to play this season with me like we have all the others, but we realized that you have to buy the sp for each account and after buying sp's for both our apex accounts and getting it for me that it's just annoying as -blam!-.
