I played a while, and tbh I thought it was rubbish too

Ok let’s compare this to something like the faction rally? No new content, no new areas, nothing worth doing and it was a boring and unfulfilling grind. That was easily the worst event

So it is marginally less shit, gotcha. Still a dull, boring grind that I gave up on.

Honestly my friends and I are having great fun but there’s a portion of the community that are so god damn moany Honestly it’s new, free content and you have the option whether to or not to go for the armour, it’s entirely up to you. There’s no gun to your head but you whiney people stillll complain You’re just beyond help at this point

I dont even think you need season pass to play this. Hint the idea why it's set to 200 recommended power level(sounds to me you only really need is vanilla).

Did I say I was continuing? No I did not, after a few runs I found nothing compelling to continue the chase. I am glad you and your friends find it compelling, congrats. You sheep will love anything (see I can ad hominem too) and are too busy trying to get employed or invited to the next event in gushing praise that the very real problems don't seem to impact you. The EAZ will in all likelihood (going by D2's history) will be left to gather dust once the event passes - at the same time they went all in on MTXs and making sure Tess was well taken care of (the ONLY vendor to be more than a bounty placeholder) while also taking away event engrams (for our own good apparently). So tell me why another palette swapped countdown mode with event objectives that run counter to team play giving out useless loot (oh look another lvl 32 blue! WOOHOO!) is a good thing? I mean they didn't even bother with a new armor set.

You’re a phenomenally bitter person wow, I’m not sure where to start on the breakdown on what you wrote. If you didn’t find it compelling (for reference I never once stated that the event was compelling), if you’re no longer taking part and you have no intention on continuing then why are you joining onto the hate bandwagon on the forums? Solstice is this seasons -blam!- fest from what I can see with people bashing on it for simply existing. It’s interesting that you brought up the sheep reference when you yourself are attached to the bandwagon of people complaining whereas I’m an outsider that’s actually enjoying playing the event with friends, so who’s the sheep? Who am I attempting to gain employment with? Real problems? It’s a video game, I play games for 2 hours in the evening when I can to relax, how on earth are there ‘real’ problems? The EAZ absolutely will go down and gather dust but why should I care? I’m a casual gamer, I didn’t pay a penny for the event and I’m enjoying myself playing with friends after a break of nearly a year. Why should you continue? Well clearly you shouldn’t as it seems highly unlikely they could produce anything that would satisfy you, if you aren’t having fun then don’t play. If you have constructive criticism then post it in feedback, if you had ideas of how it could be improved then voice them. Aside from that I really have no advice to give you
