Solstice is probably the worst event ever.
Seriously bungie, we understand you want to extend playability but damn! I honestly tried to do this event but after one EAZ I quit.

Eaz is one of the best things they have done in awhile. Having a map you can go inside buildings and outside exploring is pretty great. But you did it one time and call this the worst event.... you are a peasant

7 RespuestasI was mosty playing PvP until Solstice came out. Now I actually have a reason to play other activities again. Some of you burnt yourselves out so I can see why it wouldn't be fun for you. It's not a race. I have a month to get two armor sets. Because screw warlocks.

19 RespuestasClearly you weren't around for Queen's Wrath back in the fall of 2014. ...and if you're going to quit after one unsatisfying experience...then there is nothing the Devs can reasonably do. Goodbye and Good luck Anthem's "Cataclysm" event dropped yesterday. I deliberately didnt' play it during its two month run as a PTS beta on PC. Because I wanted to come to it fresh. . What the event is a series of mechanics based puzzles with combat that is about mid-way between what you get in The Menagerie....and what you get in a Destiny raid. Now that I know what I'm doing, I'm having a lot of fun. But the first few runs were frustrating. Because I was still trying to figure out what the game wanted.....or I knew, but had no way to communicate to the people I was matchmade to. Frustration tolerance is a necessary part of getting good at something....and often to unlocking the fun in an experience. But if you're going to quit after one bad experience...that's on you.

Worst event? Na. Honestly it’s much better then last year Solstice in which you just play story missions at harder difficulties on repeat. Same could be said about Queens Wrath OG event in early D1 cycle. Granted The Supremacy was my favourite sniper for a LONG time and it turned out to be the rarest item in the game

8 RespuestasWho ever designed the EAZ should be fired and blacklisted from working anywhere near game development ever again. It is the worse level design and mission design I have seen in a long time. I would only say “good job” if a high school student showed me it as a project they’ve been working on for school. This has no business in serious, professional game design.

I'm done with the armor masterwork non my hunter and have just been farming EAZ for chests. Not only do the chests drop too scarcely, but now people who need the "100 mini boss" quest just leave after the mini boss phase and I end up soloing the rest of the event alone. I can't get chest by myself so I'm losing loot and it takes twice as long to kill bosses alone at well. Pretty annoying.

Fotl sucks every year, that spring event? Sucked gave us ornaments we can't even use 🤣🤣, and IB has sucked for some time now. So it's safe to say most of these things need work.

1 RespuestaThis event sucks. It’s summer keep on enjoying outdoors when shawdow keep drops in a year ya year they pushed it back once why not again. You’ll get loads of 2.0 armour and 1/16th of the grind.

Well, Cataclysm dropped this week for Anthem for us poor schmoes on console. There's some new stuff to play there. It's a very interesting study into the psychology of loot boxes, in-game currency, etc, when you compare the two games (and the two recent events). How they approach putting the carrot on the end of the stick with regards to their own grindfests - time-gated dripfeeds, etc.

I kind of agree. It isn't as bad as say Festival of the Cost, but something about this event makes me put Destiny down and not play it. I am not sure if its the way the zone is designed or the jumping, but whoever thought it would be fun to try and jump up on ledges. It isn't. I am not saying I can't do it. I can, its just irritating when you miss a jump and then you are back on the ground, and time counting down, just irritates me.
