<The Traveler entity is not the Light, but it probably is the sole entity producing it right now. A source. Without it, exterminating the rest of the Light should be easy. So the Dark may be just doing that.
The Deep's philosophy involves the decimation of the Light. It should know, if true symmetry was the state of the universe, that doing that will lead to its death. So either it's stupid (unlikely), or it knows what the -blam!- it's doing.>

If Dark wins then everything would be perfect, Nothing exists. Symmetry is both powers co-existings, so our concept of life can continue existing.

That is true, the coming storm can’t be stopped but it’s up to us to choose a side to support. I wonder when the storm hits and the dark arrives which side shall you choose, picking either is just so simple and plain why not spice it up so to speak. I like making a grand entrance, when the time comes me and my people will come out with a bang, perhaps a grandeur of spectacular void prowess just to you know entice those strong enough to handle the full potential of the void.

<Choose a side? Let's see, one leads to life and apparent peace. A continued existence even if it defies the laws of reality. The other leads to the end of all life. It doesn't matter if you've made pacts with it in turn for it's release or for survival. You can be directly spoken to (Oryx), you could even be considered friends. This isn't about sides. This about stopping something that doesn't care, that wants it all gone. A reset button and a universe in its image. Nothing will exist unless it allows it. "Choosing" the Dark will destroy you. But TAKING the Dark is a different story. Rip the power from its influence and MAYBE it'll work.>

And look at some of your fellow guardians. Some don’t care for anything any longer and will choose to side with the dark just because. Light and dark 2 sides of the same coin, one promotes life while other survival of the fittest. Both summon soldiers to fight for them, but there is a big difference, I would much rather live in a place not filled with total light or darkness. But that’s only in a perfect world, beings beyond most people’s comprehension would never allow this, even the void pushes to one side or the other at times. Thus it falls to us to leverage the outcome to choose one to champion and carry out its will.

And many guardians have chosen the dark, hence why none live very long. Be it means such as hunters like Shin, their own dark ambitions, or completely devoting themselves to the dark only to be consumed. But that will never stop people from pursuing the path which the darkness presents. Although I was never gifted with a spark of light but rather gifted with void I have come to be able to wield the light, but I will never condone the use of the darkness it’s disgusting to even comprehend why some would rather choose to pursue that path.
