A guy with hayabusa armour as his profile pic should know better, if what your saying was implemented, given enough time everyone would hit 5500.... Its a PINNACLE weapon for a reason.

Editado por ImStillCasual: 1/27/2019 10:18:46 PMI don’t agree completely with what he says, but re working the point system would make the playlist more enjoyable as a whole and not just for top 1%. I love playing sweaty matches but the current loss system takes all the fun out of it because it’s so punishing to lose when the only way to climb is on streaks. When someone can charge $500 for a NF recov and people are willing to pay it, you know there’s a problem. NF quest should have just been 500 Luna kills in Comp then hit Mythic(3500) or accumulate up to max 4200 points. Legend Rank should have been just an ornament for bragging rights. The way it’s set up now, it doesn’t make sense you have to accumulate more than twice as many points while also gaining less for a win and lose more for a loss. That top 0.1% is always going to be able to get there, that’s not the issue. That would still make the playlist competitive for high level players while having something individual and unique for top tier players to go for. The embarrassing number of OG Claymore owners(of which I am one) is proof enough that they need to be more cognizant of how they keep failing the playerbase when it comes to competitive.

I'm still upset i get nothing this season for hitting 5500, season 4 was Not forgotten and so was 5 :( Atleast give me a shader or an Armour ornament set for Comp Legend rank.
-
$500? I saw a guy making $1500...
-
The point I’m trying to make is the playlist makes a lot of missteps. They got it right with how Luna & Mountaintop are achieved for the most part but they completely shit the bed with Not Forgotten.

I think tweaking matchmaking a bit, using skill estimates like destiny tracker has, would go a long way to improving everyones experience.
-
And the rest are garbage. We all know for a fact that 90% of players with NF cheated, boosted, lagswitched, host booted, queue dodged for low ranks, and paid for the gun. What exactly is "pinnacle" about a gun that takes almost no skill to get. It's just abusing the game. Top 1% of every competitive game I play. #1 on 4 heroes in Overwatch. 80 kills in a game of Battlefield is a breeze. Yet somehow this game doesn't work for me. If I can't do It, the game is fundamentally flawed and begs the users to abuse broken mechanics. Which I refuse to do because I'm not a loser like a majority of the competitive community that has no issue dodging stacks. The mode doesn't work. Period.
-
Maybe it's because it's a different game. It's proven by MJ you can be a pro at one sport and then okay at the other. You want to be good at destiny? Don't blame the game blame yourself. Once I started acknowledging my mistakes and adjusting my play I improved tremendously.
-
I did the same. Took me a week and I fly last Luna no issue. Everything past that I stopped. I knew what it was. I could struggle through it at the current rate but I'd rather call this Skinner box with rigged matchmaking what it is. A painful game that doesn't work. It's not that I'm good at other games, it's that I'm literally good at every other one I've ever played. And I've been gaming for 2 decades. Played some of the hardest games ever made. This game is FUNDAMENTALLY flawed to its core and doesn't actually reward good gameplay (at least on console. PC doesn't seem to have the same issues. Not all of them anyways). The game literally doesn't work as intended. It's the same reason Overwatch got abandoned. MMR was giving you purposefully unfair games. Turns out players don't like that shit. I box because it's a fair fight. Man against man, here's the rules. Destiny PvP is the opposite. It's feigned rules from Bungie that people break constantly, with a matchmaker that doesn't work, and then we have a pile of cheaters (particularly network manipulation) to top it off and they are many. The game IS to blame. It sucks ass and doesn't work.
-
1) how do you know 90% of players cheated? 2) It’s rather stubborn to assume that you’d be great at EVERY video game just because you’re top their at a few.
-
Stubborn to assume I'd be good at shooters when I literally played them professionally. It's not that I play in the top 1% of a few. I play in the top 1% of literally every game I've ever played. Except Destiny. I've played against the "best" in the game and they have suspicions damage models as well as the ability to shoot through walls. All of which I recorded and sent directly to Bungie. Nothing happens. This game is altered for streamers. The casuals that defend it are brain dead. This game is fundamentally broken and does not work. Cheating and abusing broken mechanics is the only way to succeed. Aiming is irrelevant. Mute. Just like anyone else that defends comp.

Are you top 1% in fortnite?

Editado por Noir Renard: 1/27/2019 8:36:59 PMLol, not true, but he should be aware that it would make it easyer to get. In all honesty weapons that make the best player better is kind of just telling everyone who's not the top 1% to -blam!- off and stop playing the game. Don't get me wrong having pinnical weapons is cool and all but it seriously unbalances the game. Perks like Lunas howl which turn a 180 4 shot to kill into a 3 shot and 2 shot monster shouldn't exits.
-
Top 1% should have the gun, i think it should just be a 150 with a little more range then dire promise, but then the lunas would be Meta and everyone would play passive to close distance. Long range wouldn't be a thing and players would play off angles to counter snipers, scouts and pulse rifles. Not forgotten is owned by around 9k-15k players. Around half are recoverys, i know because i myself have done 3 recoverys... Top level is very concentrated and bungie need to address issues in competitive like the banning of certain Exotic armours and weapons. Reducing heavy to every 2-3 mins for respawn game modes. And removing Magnetism and aim assist from all guns on the PC version of the game, make crits more important by reducing body shots by 1/3 or cits. Example. 30crit, 10 body. Titan skating should be looked into, if you don't want to fix it bring all classes to the same mobility. Make all flinch in game zero and add recoil to all guns.

Do we know how many have Luna? It's literally everywhere, lots of them can't even aim or shoot from scout range, clearly purchased
