In comp a single win is worth 20 points and a single loss takes away 30 points... many matches if playing solo is win a few, lose a few. Especially when getting paired up against stacked teams. You can play all day and go nowhere. With longer wait times now we get fewer games a day. This needs to be addressed
Edit: I am currently in Fabled rank 3, the point system is most likely different in lower ranks.

Makes sense to me. Only reward those with a 1.5+ win/loss ratio. Too much of Destiny is rewarding people for no effort, but I can actually get behind this.
-
1 RespuestaIf they want to make it so you loose points then do 10 points per loss I wouldn't have an issue with that. I normally play solo in comp and it sucks going against a 4 stack and all ways loosing. Honestly im not the best solo player. With a team I can hold my own. Wouldn't mind to get stacked with a good 2-3 other people to have a chance at Lunas. If not then no big deal it is what it is. Maybe take away no points at all and I would one day get it. either way I think it could take a revamp at the way points are lost.

25 Respuestasstop asking them to make it even easier to get legend. Basically half the playerbase has not forgotten, its too easy. They should honestly bring back the season 3 point system
-
1 RespuestaThey have u. U are addicted. Its just a way to rig the game so the house always wins. The more u play the more u spend.
-
It is in other games...

Can't believe Bungie won't acknowledge this

2 RespuestasNo in comp and win is worth 34 and loss is worth 30. All you dumbasses upvoting this tell me none of you actually play comp
-
1 RespuestaI think it’s balanced out because of the win streaks giving more points.
-
Sorry, bud. You’re gonna have to hold that L.

2 RespuestasEditado por BornANew2020: 1/28/2019 1:07:28 PMLosses should be half of what a win nets you. Should never be more or your a game company that has a crappy reward system. Edit: or an even better system where you only lose points when you go pass a 5 loss streak.

EDIT: Whoever at Bungie decided the above must be a gas-lighting master. I'm glad I do not know that person.

Sorry, but if bungie wants to introduce this game into wave of e-sports 1st they need to avoid any special weapon or exotic that gives extensive ultimate duration to some guardians or exotics that give u any advantage to others. Any real e-sport such CS or even OW uses no weapon or suit to cover their abilities or a special weapon. Destiny was not done for e-sport or ranked system. Since there aren’t any real balance between classes. We have hunters with no limits ultimates duration or exotics that gives u half way to charge their ultimates. Warlocks using AoE super in a huge area (they nerfed it in a wrong way) Titans with OHKO punches and exotics that give u almost two bars of health. Tiny maps that even a char with ultimate can kill u twice in a row just because u have respaw and people said warlocks ultimate need to be tuned down (I agree) but we still have hunters running with ultimates in a row for long time. Heavy weapons respaw too much. (Prefer D1 system). Ranked system with no real matchmaking or using a system that punishes more when u lose than win. So in my humble opinion this game PvP its only for fun no real ranked system or e-sport to have some fun. This game was not designed for it.

2 RespuestasQuit playing this garbage game. Seriously, everything about this game is frustrating... find a new game and enjoy... There are games out there that are fun... Nothing about Desitny is Fun!
-
4 RespuestasI think they should switch so a loss gives points and a win takes them away
-
29 RespuestasShpuldnt lose points at all. A loss should be zero gain. For sure we shouldnt lose points more than a win awards.

3 RespuestasPeople still play pvp? Why

1 RespuestaI honestly don't know what's going on at bungie. I love this game but man comp sucks

1 RespuestaThis is one of the many reasons comp is trash

4 RespuestasEditado por Catbug195: 1/28/2019 3:49:25 PMIf you think about it, it could be taken as a metaphor. You know how everyone says that you learn more from failure than success, that is how it could be taken. So in this case, when you win, you don't get more rewards because you are already super OP, so give the losers more stuff so that they can learn to get better. So in a way, it is actually kinda balanced.

6 RespuestasJust to clear things up a bit: Brave = +34,+44,+54,+68,+74 for wins/streaks; -30 for a loss Heroic = +30,+40,+50,+64,+70 for wins/streaks, -26 for a loss Fabled = +20,+30,+40,+54,+60 for wins/streaks; -30 for a loss Not sure about the other ranks.
-
11 RespuestasIs this for real? I thought winning in comp gained you 34 points and losing would remove 30 points.... I never heard of gaining only 20 points from winning. :S
-
1 RespuestaI assume this was done to keep you in your respective tier list. Or else even the casuals could reach legend so long as they managed a 50% win rate.
-
23 RespuestasThe point is you're supposed to win more than you lose. It is the top tier of rewards. If other people have done it you can too. Now you can either acknowledge your mistakes and your teams mistakes or continue to complain on the forums making no progression in your rank.
-
Or just bring back the change where lose streaks took less points the more you loss

2 RespuestasJust earlier today i did a loud fart while i was taking a shower, and had a massive hole in my boxers. Just thought i would share that with all of you,but Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
