So you're saying that the game should be easier for people like you who don't want to improve at Crucible, but harder and more unfair (due to bad connection etc.) for everyone else?
I play about 5-6hrs a week and I don't wanna play sweats EVERY game I play just because I have a 3 K/D.
I've had enough of that bullshit during D1's lifetime.
You can't complain about Lunas/ Not Forgotten being too hard to get for bad players because those guns were meant to be "pinnacle weapons" for the best crucible players, not for EVERYONE.
It's called COMPETITIVE Playlist for a reason.

There's a reason why the crucible is just about a ghost town and why it seems Bungie wants to get rid of it altogether.

( Take a look at https://destinytracker.com ) I like the Idea of making those guns "Comp guns only" but only if they made all theRaid guns "Raid only guns" as well. Because that's what Comp is, the Raid equivalent for PvP players.

The number you quoted also includes D1 players btw. I know you have a selfish, childish ‘mine only’ mentally, but the reality is that crucible & bungie are suffering due to the lack of SBMM, and you being scared of facing players of your caliber is irrelevant to the benefit it would bring to everyone else. Complaining about fair matchmaking is really bizarre.

830k is a lot compared to the absolute insult of an PvP game D2 Year 1 was. You obviously have a lot of knowledge when it comes to FPS Games or PvP Shooter games in general. Why is Bungie suffering from a matchmaking System that provides better connections for everyone and therefore a better experience for the majority of the playerbase? "and you being scared of facing players of your caliber is irrelevant to the benefit it would bring to everyone else" - Are you implying with "everyone else" everyone that, like you, doesn't want to get better at the game and want's everything handed to him on a silver plattern with minimal effort? You're actually scared of playing better people from time to time because that would involve more than running around the map cluelessly killing bots on your level. Killing people equally as trash as you will not make you a better player. If you don't want to improve it's fine, but don't make everyone that invested the time to get better suffer from your unrealistic idea of what's "best for the community" Should some form of Skillbased Matchmaking be in Comp? Yes. But Ping lock should also be a thing. Should there be Skillbased Matchmaking in Quickplay? No. You don't gain or lose anything from playing Quickplay, it should only be about fun and that includes playing on the best possible connection.

So you don't want to TRY every. single. game. As you put it (bullshit btw) but lesser skilled players should be your fodder because they'll never get better playing on a somewhat equal playing field. What pvp lessons are they learning by getting shit on by players such as yourself, because "I want to relax and not try but still dominate" Regurgitate the same b.s. responses that all good pvpers spew I'll wait.

Listen, I don't care who I play against. Playing Ranked in Halo 3 made me the player who I am today, even though I don't play much D2 anyway I'm still good at it. Getting better involved me getting shit on by WAY better players that mastered the game mechanics and learned to use them to their advantage. If you get shit on every. single. game. you're obviously doing something wrong. If you actually want to improve you look at better players and what they're doing and try to replicate their gameplay. I don't get why the worst players are always the ones complaining the most about not being able to compete with the best if they don't want to put the time in. I said it once and I'll say it again, Lunas Howl and Not Fortgotten is like the level 50 Ranked Icon next to your name in Halo, only the best players should have it because these things were specifically made for them. Not your typical weekend warrior that plays 10-15 games of Quickplay a weekend. There are so many good guns in Destiny 2, why take the only grind and fun away from mediocre/good PvP players that we have?

I don't play enough to care myself, if you read what I said I'm simply speaking for that part of the playerbase. And unless I'm losing it, I don't think I mentioned anything about lunas howl or not forgotten lol Somehow though I still knew that would be brought up. Ops thread is about sbmm, using the things you mentioned to give details. Not caring about something and being ignorant to something is different in my opinion. I get value out of real tangible things in my life, not I'm a pvp god hear me roar, or I suck at pvp I'll never be accepted by peers. It's a video game, it's supposed to be fun, not a bullet point on my resume You just had to drag me back in didnt you lol. I speak of what I take value in and that apparently translates to hurr durrr only bad players are capable of having lives outside of video games. I use xbox/destiny to keep in touch with friends I grew up with that I don't ever get to hang with anymore. Not to measure my erection like a cats tail. Later amigo, this was a such blast.
