There should be an alternative weapon Unique to Rumble Comp.
Luna’s howl and NF should not be obtainable via Rumble and remain unique to current Comp.
That way, players aren’t playing Rumble comp as a way to get the same rewards as those of us who grinded regular comp.

that was the WHOLE point of the thread lmao

Editado por ImStillCasual: 10/31/2018 10:54:10 PMYou should really read what I said. Reading comprehension is a real thing. If you had, you’d realize I proposed that if there was a rumble comp, you WOULD NOT be able to get Luna or NF from playing it. You would instead get a different reward. That way, players aren’t playing rumble comp as a way to circumvent having to play regular comp to get Luna. They have to go back and play regular comp or not get Luna. Get it?
-
Just curious, why not give the same rewards? Luna’s howl doesn’t give any bonus based on your team, does it?
-
Editado por ImStillCasual: 10/31/2018 9:13:02 PMEasy, because you diminish the achievement of acquiring the weapon as well as disrespect the time investment and commitment of the players who have obtained Luna’s Howl already if you make it available outside of the current Comp Playlist. The goal isn’t to get Luna’s Howl into as many players hands as possible. It’s to reward those skilled and dedicated enough to be able to complete all the requirements Bungie set in place. I’m not against Rumble having its own comp type mode but I do think it should have its own Unique Weapon so that it adds something else to go after while still letting Luna remain unique.

Don’t you realize that Luna’s howl should be something you have control over. And if they added a rumble the glory points would move up. So there would be more better odds. But at same time not guaranteed to place top three every time

Surely going 1v1 against everyone proves you are a better player if you win. In a team you are relying on the other players to do well. You could finish with the most kills across both teams but lose the match due to bad players on your team and take the loss in points
-
It’s just as likely you’ll lose a game of rumble because somebody is better at being a vulture than you are. You guys really overhype how much of a proof of skill rumble is.
-
You guys, wow. A vulture not heard that before, is that stealing kills because it happens alot in team pvp
-
In team modes it ultimately doesn’t matter who gets the final blow as long as you win. In Rumble, the literal meta for winning is being a better vulture than anyone else. Cleaning up other fights is way more efficient than actually running around trying to 1vX everyone.
-
Makes sense I guess.
-
With that being said, Bungie already stated why they won’t do Rumble Comp. They didn’t want to have to calculate and track glory for two completely different game modes so they opted against it. And IMO, I think most players want comp because they they’re always carrying their teams against sweats which isn’t even remotely true.
-
I’d love competitive rumble because I can never find friends to play. They all left the game.

Bungie could add an in game feature for finding players to play with but it would end up just like LFG. Players would undoubtedly complain that it only is beneficial for good players because good players only want to play with other good players.
