I actually like Breakthrough, but it doesn't belong in comp. Most games swing from one team winning to the next, depending on who has super available when. More than any other, a single super can swing a round instantly with Breakthrough, as you spawn kill the defenders and hack them.

  • Can work the other way too though. Given that you’re defending a point 5 metres from the enemy spawn. If you defender manages to get a 2-3 multikill, it’s virtually impossible to cap the point for the attackers on some maps, due to single lane entries. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel. I find in certain maps it’s better to just let the other team cap the middle and just defend until the timer is down and win that way.

  • except as a defender you need to use good 4 supers generally to defend for the full timer vs only 1 good super is needed for offense to wipe a team.

  • You don’t need amy supers. On pretty much every map there’s 2-3 lanes into the area. Even one kill makes it 4v3 and the respawning person needs to make it across the entire map again. And that snowballs
