For the first half. You misunderstood my meaning.
I was simply saying the traveler brought his problems upon us. Knowing we would gladly take up the mantle.
Just saying. What if. A big what if. He/She or It isn't pure. Sure it gives life so that life can be taken.
My 2nd part. Crota was being an asshole. His father Orxy knew their role in life. Orxy only came because we killed his son
They are Godly yet we killed Them.
So if we can kill Gods. Why not find out Exactly what is out there besides the traveler.
He won't speak like Orxy did. So i am simply saying if we had helped him put his son in check.
Would he have told us who else is out there?
Not saying the traveler is bad. But giving me Godlike powers, i am definitely going to use them wisely.
I am not going to blindly worship anything without knowing all facts.

I think this is what you mean? is there any specific part of the lore that made you see it this way? I don't worship blindly. as soon as I see evidence that it's evil, I have no problem considering it I don't think oryx would share any information with us. like all hive, he hates the light. why would he help us? and I don't think he would have left our system alone if we got rid of crota in some other way. I don't see how it would have been possible to get rid of crota without killing him

Yes in D1. I read a card.(the.ones.we.collected.for.lore) It was a page from a journal. Or maybe i read something on a piece of gear. And also the way the speaker talked. Rubbed me the wrong way. I also recall the speaker saying he was the only one the travler would speak too. I don't know about you but i think that was weird. And maybe you are right about Crota. I would try and talked some sense into him...he would kill 1 to 5 of my fireteam. Than he would point at me. I always told him "you won't like it when i'm angry" I did warn him......lol Thanks for replying. You are awesome. -krome the voidwalker
