It’s funny that he scoffed at Skolas for trying to unite the Houses, only to later try it himself.

no, variks always wanted to find the kell of kells, but he knew skolas was not it. a lot of this ties to the HoW exotics and their quest lines.
-
When did I ever say that Variks didn’t want to find the Kell of Kells?
-
Skolas was a MONSTER. thats why he "scoffed" at him. Leave my man alone
-
I think he scoffed at skolas more than the idea of the Kell of kells imo. He has always been an adherent to House Rain's prophecirs.
-
Which is what I said. He thought Skolas was ridiculous for trying to be the Kell of Kells, only to later lose hope in the Reef and try it himself.
-
The big difference is methodology. Skolas tried to subjugate the houses while Variks is trying to unify them
-
Exactly
-
And that's bad why??? So if you think someone shouldn't run for president and you then want to be President, is that so bad?
-
No, it’s just kinda funny to me.
-
I get ya, I get uneasy about Variks sometimes also
-
No I get you bro. At the least it's ironic since Variks "didn't want a throne" reluctant leader type of deal. I'm not totally sold that he is the Kell of kells, I could see him as an advisor to the KoK (Mithrax?) Kinda the way House Judgement was pre-whirlwind.
-
Kell of Kings is actually dead. His name was Craask, and Uldren and Fikrul killed him. Although it’s possible that Mithrax, Variks, or some other figure could save them, the Kings might not be around for much longer.
-
<The Kings lead the Dusk. If the Kings go, then the Dusk go with. But if Craask understood House Judgement, then perhaps Variks and others could start a full on alliance.>
-
Sorry I meant Kell of kells when said KoK. Too bad about Craask tho, I wanted to see more of the kings.
-
Yea really!
