My best friend I have been playing games with for 10+ years has raided with me since the beginning. We are both over 21, not really interested in starting a family. I am a college student, he is a full time worker that gets emergency calls on the fly to drive for 10+ hours to a customer to work an unkown amount of time on network infrastuctures. Stop complaining, I know there are players on LFG that help people out in the raid on a daily basis.

  • Lets see, you are single, young, have friends you have played on games with for years and condemn others for not being the above? Weird. I have more than lapped you my friend, I have a career at a startup that takes priority over destiny and I have a family that takes priority over all that. Wait till you met some nice girl (or guy, don't know your gender) and start a family. Then come back to this thread and you will be nodding in agreement. Life changes man. I guess the question is what is the target audience? If its that very limited hardcore players market then that will limit sales and revenue. And yes, that limit in revenue affects you hardcore players. Bungie is, after all, a business.

  • I am currently married. We have no intrest in children. (In fact I am infertile.) The excuse of not knowing anything about the raid is detrimental once you pass the 6 month mark. You should know what you are doing or an idea. This is the internet we are talking about. When you tell a group, "I don't know anything about the raid." No one in their right mind will want to raid with you because the idea of spending 2+ hours on a raid shouldn't be happening at this point. Stop making excuses.

  • It's a game. I was unaware that customers that haven't played since day one. Marketing material from bungie would suggest otherwise.

  • There is a thing called the internet that you are currently using right now. There is a thing called Youtube that gives guides on the raid. At some point after the raid is out, roughly six months afterwards, the idea of a blind fireteam going through the raid is not happening. Watch a couple minute video to learn the mechanics and then join a group to do it saying, "I know what to do." Not elitist when people just don't want to spend 2 hours teaching a raid to a new player that is likely going to screw it up for 90% of the time. If you really don't want to watch a video then look for a sherpa group. Either way, your excuses are empty.
