I'd rather have a drink with Bill Cosby than play Far Cry Primal.
Melee combat consists of poking something with a sharp stick, or swinging downwards with a wooden club. Want to do something else? Oh, well....we have..... a... bow? Like every other Far Cry game. Sorry, no guns. All you get is a poke stick and a bow. -blam!-ing yawn.
Beyond the setting, I don't see any redeeming qualities about the game. It should have been a $20 standalone akin to Blood Dragon, not a $60 full release.

I tend to avoid melee and use my spears and even clubs as projectiles. Then there's also the slingshot and animal takedowns. I haven't used bombs and traps much but I guess there's another option.
