Here is what doesnt make sense:
If those guns are overpowered, what guns are we supposed to use in their stead? Supposedly ttk guns damage bases are leaps and bounds above what these current guns can do.
None of it makes ANY sense. Nerf damage to make newer guns seem powerful via a dead comparison?
I dont get it.
It sounds like doing work for NOTHING.
WHY DO ANY OF PRE TTK GUNS NEED NERF EXACTLY?

Funny thing is year one weapons and armor are still strong enough to go through TTK. Haven't used a single piece of new gear minus the artifact they make you take. Down side is you need the "better gear" to do heroic strike.

actually bungies answer was the old weapons will still be viable in old content. kinda like what MS said. just keep you xbox 360. xbox owners should remember that.

People who don't buy the expansion won't have to worry about their weapons being underpowered at all, since they won't be playing the new content that requires better guns.
