Was playing the BF: Hardline beta earlier and the first thing I said was 'damn this is smooth' to then playing Destiny an hour later and it felt so horrible, sluggish and slow.
Whats your thoughts, would you dial the pretty graphics back a tad for smoother gameplay?

Leave 60FPS for a smoothe running game. Destiny has a LOT of things that need fixing before it can be considered smoothe running.

Ohhhhhhhh, frames per second. I thought it meant Fixed Price to Sell. Not like the graphics sold me anyway. It was the brutal assault of tv spots promising exploration and content. So a higher fps would be great if the game could deliver what it promised. I could go as high as 65 for a fps. Lol
-
I rather have better looks and 30fps with no drops. If there's frame drops then I'll take scaled back graphics til it's 100% stable

2 RespuestasSomething to make the events a little more precise. I hate the kill trading and especially the MELEE trading in this game. It's like Bungie gave up trying to figure out who won and said 'you're all winners' and kills both players.
-
Oh and the FPS isn't nearly as annoying as the pathetic FoV.

PC master race. 3x BenQ 144hz and 2 Titan Blacks. Custom rig, liquid cooled. Muhahaha. I'm surprised Destiny has kept my attention for so long. I guess sitting on the couch for casual console has its appeal.

Hardline isn't smooth.. It's just the feel of an FPS. Literally, what companies need to do is stop making games for last gen. It's holding companies back on making really great games like Evolve, Lords of the Fallen, etc. These games are all great because there is nothing holding them back from going all out.

I mainly play pc so yes i would love it in 60fps
-
they need a new engine for Destiny 2. Cut off last gen console because it's limiting development. Focus on PS4 and XB1, make the game run at 60fps. The fluidity of the experience coupled with the solid gameplay would be simply amazing.
-
I'd rather just be able to stay connected for one whole play setting. If less graphics enabled that I'd be fine lol
-
I'm ok with 30, as a majority of digital media is 30 or less (TV and movies). Sure the gameplay feels smoother on 60, but It doesn't make your reaction time better or anything so it roughly plays the same

60fps hurts my eyes and head and my head hurts enough as it is from my chronic migraines:(
-
umm, god yes
-
I think destiny is really smooth
-
1 RespuestaYes I prefer 60fps on shooters. I'd rather it be 720p @60fps than 1080 @ 30fps
-
1 RespuestaI always thought it was 60 fps. I never noticed.
-
I doubt anyone would notice/care unless 60fps increased item drops.

60 fps is king I prefer smooth gameplay over neatness. If I wanted graphics I would be a marine.
-
2 RespuestasThe XBox can't run games in 60fps.

I was playing hardline to, and it felt weird playing Destiny again. My word of advice: Tell yourself "Everything is fine." That is all.
-
I thought hardline looked terrible. On xbone a lot of hype for it then the beta and I thought wow dice... Really. Then I put bf4 in. But that's just my opinion
-
I want more detailes and better looking textures than 60fps that will be nice for the first 15 mins and then it will be just, oh this is 60fps I forgot...
-
I like 60FPS, but it's not like I can't handle this. I'll take the visual fidelity over some extra smoothness.

3 RespuestasI thought fps stood for first person shooter...
