Nope, not a reasonable point...no need for trading
-
Editado por III URBAN III: 2/9/2015 3:15:35 PMNope The completion of raids is for the best stuff in the game and this is a 10 year franchise. You're asking people to hand equipment out left right and centre without playing the game So, you think it's fair that a guy does 12 raid completions for a real good piece of a equipment and someone that's a bit luckier has the same piece 4 times and just gives it out to his friend? That would piss off a lot of people and it's not "becoming legend" is it lol

It would break the game
-
Look, trading would mess up the game. -that's my opinion. I don't want "that one exotic" that I've been craving from another player! I love the excitement of getting a drop, or even getting it from Xur. If trading was everything but exotics I would love it though!
-
1 RespuestaLet me explain why trading would ruin this game. I've got some spare Gjallarhorn's lying around. A lot of people will give alomst everything for one. So if i could trade those with other peolple I would have everyting I would ever want within a matter of seconds. This would leave me with absolutely no reason to play, untill the next expansion....... i am not alone in this, and most a lot of players will quit once a trading system is implemented. So it's better for both bungie and the players that a trading system won't be implemented...
-
Not gonna happen. Don't have proof, but by the way they've been "fixing" this game (i.e. Fixing pretty much ALL the cheeses in Crota's End (twice for some parts i think) and just completely ignoring that STUPID MINOTAUR ON THE VENUS PORTAL IN VoG) i doubt they would even think to add something so "complicated".
-
3 RespuestasBungle has said they will implement player to player trading eventually. They just have to figure out how it'll work.
-
As much as I think trading is a good idea I have to agree with the people that say Bungie already can't fix the issues they do have. Bringing in trading now might not be a great idea. Everyone that is against trading always had the same few arguments. It will ruin the game. It will bring in glimmer farming. It will let low lvl people rank up fast. Trading can be done and would not have any of these issues. First off everything in the game has levels on it. Players can use items unless they are at those levels. Why people think that will change with trading is beyond me. A lvl 32 is not going to be giving lvl 20 gear to a lvl 3 in trade. What would be the benefit for the 32? Even if they were friends and they allowed this kind of trading the lvl 3 couldn't use the gear till they hit lvl 20 anyway. If you don't there to be an issue with glimmer farming that you simply don't allow trades for glimmer. Trades should be for items of equal or lesser value only in the same class of item. For example you can trade weapons for weapons, armor for armor and so on. Really if you don't want there to be an issue with trading at all just set up a trading vendor. Players and go and trade in their unwanted gear for other players unwanted gear. To make it fair for everyone all gear that is traded in get set back to its original state so you can't trade in an non upgraded item for a upgraded one. Trading can work just fine without any of the issues the anti-trade community complain about it just has to be done correctly.

No we don't Christmas noob

No we don't
-
No you don't, you don't need trading you want it. Not going to get it though
-
I feel like if there was trading it would be mainly for heavy ammo synthesis.
-
I think thy should make trading only end game rewards. Example lets say i get a 3rd ghorn from night fall or raid i would gladly trade it for a suros or something

Editado por CatMan Snowball: 2/9/2015 2:16:02 PMA way to fix trading is trading a gun of equal value, gun resets all perks, cost money and strange coins, limit trading to once a month, can only trade a primary for a primary, secondary for secondary, and heavy for heavy. Also guns like vex and nechrocasm( probably spelled wrong) can't be traded. Also no raid weapons
-
The best way to create a trading system is to have each weapon, have trading requirements. For instance the gallarjorn and icebreaker are considers boss slayers so for these weapons you would need 35 raid completions and 150 strike boss kills before you can trade for these weapons. All weapons and armor would have these challenges. Also you could have rep between the actual players and you have to have a certain rep with players to actually trade with them.and your rep would increase with doing things with them such as raids and strikes plus cruciblecrucible.this would negate the money problem.

Well took a long for this to resurface, give me a minute while I grab my shovel.

1 RespuestaTrading Solution so that you cannot abuse it etc: 1. DNAPEX - DNA Print Exchange tool (for trading) costs 30 Strange coins and is bought from Xur. 2. Trading resets all XP earned on the item. 3. Each player needs to have a DNAPEX in order to do any Weapon/Armour trade even if you are just giving a weapon to someone else. Explained further - Seller needs to reset his ownership on the item and the buyer needs to claim ownership with new weapon by use of a DNAPEX. 4. Glimmer and items are freely tradeable however you will still need a DNAPEX item in order to receive Armour/Weapons. But you can trade Heavy ammo for glimmer ETC. 5. Rare/Uncommon/Common Items DO NOT need a DNAPEX item for trades, however Legendary and Exotic items do. 6. The bottom line rule for this whole trade system is that you are essentially giving every player the option to be a temporary Xur Merchant, but with costs to both seller and buyer. The Above solution counters item selling because you will both be burning 20 coins per item trade above legendary grade. Scenarios covered: Real money trading: The key is to make it so you are essentially spending the same time and effort in game regardless of if you pay with real money on top. the 30 coins from both sides means that people are effectively buying a Xur Item. Affects in PVP: The current system is in nowhere based on skill level. Anyone that pretends that it is, just go look at the countless pictures where people with 1 kill 34 Deaths gets an Exotic. There are no PVP Specific Weapons and as such there is no direct affect on pvp from PVEing. Earning vs Buying vs Xur: The current system is complete RNG. If you have gotten a gun from RNG you did not earn it in anyway shape or form. You simply got the item from a randomly generated function. Doing Weekly Coin strikes is no different to rolling a dice except the dice in the weekly coin strike has 6's on each side of the die. To put it into perspective, there are people who have double or even triple my game time and yet they have not obtained the Vex Mythocast or Hardlight. Another perspective is I have done VOG hard a few times and this has resulted in me dropping 6 Vex Mythocasts. Another Important perspective is that a large majority of the people who have GJallahorn now, bought it from Xur in the second week. You are NOT unique for having any weapon in the slightest as we are all just a single dice roll from getting any weapon.(Ignoring Fate-of-Fools) Alternatively: Fix the broken loot system that rewards morons with Gjallahorns and good players with Shitty legendary pulse rifles.
-
If you honestly think Bungie (who cant fix heavy ammo bug, cant address vault space, cant address loot drops, cant fix various VOG/CROTA, bugs) is even capable as adding something as complex as player trading i have a bridge to sell you. I mean.. for -blam!-s sake... they cant even get heavy synths sold on Xur. It doesnt get more basic than that.

No we don't. That would make destiny even messier.

We really don't

We don't need trading in fact
