A bunch of 32s couldn't beat Atheon hard mode last night... Can you relate?
Any explanation? They were terrible and had shit guns

It's cause people suck. I just barely got to lvl 30 and we beat Crota twice already. My group was 32 32 31 30 30. You don't need "all 32s only". You just need to be organized and know what to do.

I tell every team I'm with, who are all invariably a mix of 31s and 32s, that there was once a day when a 30 was the top tier, God mode player. I tell them that we should be mathematically better than a 30 uses to be. A lot of them might not understand what I'm referencing and that's fine. But that little speech I make boosts morale and we push through it. I generally believe the Crota raid is very easy to get carried through and the boss fight is more dependent on one person than the team as a whole. Guardians are out of practice in a fight like Atheon, where every member of the team is a valuable asset. Edit: they also think that being 32 makes up for having pitifully underleveled or inappropriate weapons. Bro I understand you like the Thorn but it's not really useful against the oracles... or Atheon...

Because it's too easy to get to 32 now Before the dlc level 30s were usually good players who knew what they are doing now level means nothing I check grimoire for raid completions now

Joined a group of mostly 32s as a 31 titan unprepared cuz it was a random invite... Died all the time cuz the 32s kept dying I grabbed the relic finally when I could and we won that round... Let me say that was the first time I raided with my titan I usually raid with my hunter

I joined a team of 32s on atheon yesterday. I stupidly thought this will be a quick fight. I was right. Atheon destoyed us evert single time. Not 1 of the other players could use the relic so the only time we would get to even damage atheon was when I ran the relic. But even then 2 or 3 would die getting out of the bubble or die just trying to kill supplicants.

Easily explained. I will use myself as an example. I was always invited as a fill in now and then with vog. Never really cared to raid. (Did get some good drops still). So I only have one full completion of cog. However with crota, I decided to jump in and have been completing the raid, now including hard consistently. Now I'm 32. However not a pro with vog still. I only raid with one character also.

Just into a pickup game last week, got my first vex, cleared everything no problems Yesterday, pick up Atheon, beat him first run. Icebreakers and rockets.

I had a group that couldn't beat normal atheon. Me (31), two 30s, 26, 25 and 24. WTF, I was basically two manning it since the only decent player was one of the 30s

1 RespuestaI've played and beat him on two relics in a few minutes; also played with people who were high leveled and took over an hour. All depends on experience, with the high levels gifted to people with the dlc there are many an inexperienced 31-32. Some have never played before. I don't get mad, just try to educate them nicely so others don't have to feel the pain.
