Red Death is absolute garbage.
Seriously, it is terrible. Why is it even exotic? It should be a level 16 rare. It's like using a potato as a gun.
Edit: This gun sucks, and it's definitely a fact. Get mad.

2 RespuestasThis gun is one of the few exotics that I don't have so I can't accurately criticize it. However, it is by no means the worst exotic in the game. NLB, Dragon's Breath, Bad Juju (in crucible anyways), and the Nechrocasm (from what I've heard) are bad. Red Death is adequate at the least. Imo I prefer Universal Remote (PvP) and Ice Breaker (PvE). And potato guns can hurt.

It's mag is too small for mobs and it doesn't have the consistent stopping power to take down majors and ultras. Well majors with some pinpoint crits, ultras though.. My end opinion is, like any weapon in any game, it's situational. I wouldn't be dropping rocket shots on a mob of thralls. I would much rather use a fusion or auto rifle or a heavy machine gun. One crit per head.

Useful if you're the sword guy. That guy needs all the health and can get away with using hoc instead of ghorn.

Ya, it's pretty easy to stay alive, you don't need it's perk. A better dps gun will serve you more, and there are armor pieces that will regain health for you

Compared to the other pulse rifles it's not that bad. Honestly, the health regen is nice especially when you're fighting Crota on hard. Sure all pulse rifles could use a damage bump but for what it's worth, the red death is one of the better pulse rifles.
