In what way TDYD is a great gun? Any Hand Cannon can outdone TDYD basically at any situation. Its magazine size is 5. If you want a bigger magazine size for it, you have to waste one perk for Field Scout. It barely has a better range than The Last Word, making it completely useless in medium-long range. It has the same Rate of Fire and Impact as Thorn and Word of Crota, except Thorn can kill with two shots in Crucible and comes with 9 rounds and double the range compared to TDYD's 5 round magazine and final round perk to get extra damage and kill your opponent with 2 shots by having 2 shots in your magazine. You can only kill 2 guys with one clip with your TDYD while you can kill 4 guys with one clip with Thorn. Word of Crota has 12 shots (17 if you can get precision shots) in magazine. It has better stability and range and perks make it even better so you can easily pick off enemies from a distance, whether you're doing a Strike, Raid or Crucible. Even if you roll perfect perks for TDYD, it's useless. You can easily reroll Timur's Lash's perks as long as you have Mote of Lights (and Iron Banner event is in progress). I didn't mention burn damage (I assume you're talking about burn damage as you mentioned FB, WoC and VoC because you ony mentioned Raids and Nightfalls) in my original comment as the OP only mentioned that 331 attack means the weapon is ultimately better compared to 300 attack weapons. I used The Devil You Know (300 attack Hand Cannon) as an example how it can wreck The Devil You Don't (331 attack Hand Cannon).
