You're bad at Crucible if..

2 RespuestasKD is nothing but a number which is influenced by a number of things like: if you play alone or with a team. You camp or are everywhere. You find parties of 4-6 and your team mates suck pretty bad, you can still do good but your kd will suffer. You play the objective or not. For example this was my first FPS ever, and of course I was going to be bad at the beginning and my KD suffered from it, I started with a 0.59 KD, but I got better and constantly pull 3-4 KDs everygame with the occasional 2.0 KDs. And I agree with the rest but just because this game gives way too much special ammo for the noobs. Being able to NOT use your primary weapon for a WHOLE game is just bad game design. I use the sniper a lot, but I recently found a nasty shotty and have been using, but mainly for the grimoire score for getting shotgun kills. Shoulder charge takes NO SKILL whatsoever, do not let a titan tell you it does. It has no cool down, the shoulder charge window is a lot, and it has a nasty lock on. Anyone can sprint and melee. Simple as that.

Secondly, Vex is NOT underpowered at all in Crucible. The only things that might be Subjectively better are Suros because of its its flexibility and the exotic hand cannons. Vex is a monster in close-mid ranges. Thirdly, not everyone wastes time in normal Crucible. I have the same H3 ranks as you (why is that relevant again?) and I only play Iron Banner. Generally a lot better players are in there.

1 RespuestaWhy is k/d so important, what happened to testing out new stuff that will potentially bring your k/d to shit. Ex. Experimenting with no land beyond or new hand cannons, heck even different gear or subclass setups! I'm all about experimenting and having fun in crucible and not all about hiding in the back with a sniper in the back or hiding in a corner with a shotgun or fusion rifle. Get out there and have some fun!

7 RespuestasSo you're telling me up close I shouldn't pull out a gun that is intended for close range combat. In my opinion only a "bad" player would think that's the right decision. Do agree on fusion rifles though.

I use a shotgun a lot. my KD is shit. i don't complain. [spoiler]shotguns & fusions are just weapons. there's no need to fear them.[/spoiler]
