Christ. This week's (I don't even want to consider this a hotfix) "hotfix" was two....TWO fixes to the CE raid. Nothing else.
Players have made countless threads on bugs that have existed ingame since the damn launch.
This is going to happen AGAIN with HoW. You're going to release the raid that can be entirely "cheesed" AGAIN. You're going to sit there and spend all of your time trying to fix something that apparently you guys can't even make halfway right in the first place.
There are far more things to this game than the raids and nerfing guns in PVP. Start fixing THOSE things first.
The entire raid can still "cheesed" after the first CE patch AND the most recent patch. Give. Up. Move on and start working on other things that affect the rest of the game.
This is showing a lack of respect towards players. Countless threads with thousands of replies and up votes and it's not even acknowledged. When are you going to start listening and make the game better for EVERYONE, not just those who raid.
This is so ridiculous. When are you all going to get your heads out of your asses.
Let me guess, next week's "hotfix" is going to be MORE patches for the raid only and other problems in the game are going to continue to be ignored.
Edit: most people wouldn't even cheese or try to find exploits or your poorly designed game if the RNG wasn't so ridiculous. There's no need for a massive buff in drops, but this is the exact reason why people choose to take that path. We spend enough time playing hundreds of hours trying to get a few things we want, but the game continues to hold them out against us.
So here's another edit since some people seem to be taking this the wrong way:
I do not mind that they're trying to fix the exploits. I could 10,000% care less. The objective of this thread was to try and get them to stop focusing so much on their raids, that people will CONTINUE to find ways to exploit. It's almost as if they're trying to have a war with the playerbase.
I want to see them actually make useful hotfixes for ALL the players. The last hotfix I've seen like that, that truly helped, was when they fixed decoding of engrams. After that, damn near everything has been useless.
I want to see the game get better overall. Not just one aspect of the game. They spend so much time trying to fix exploits of the raids they release, rather than paying any attention to the other things at hand.

Im mad cause I cant cheese anymore. If people.played the raid with the mechanics intended then they wouldnt have to hotfix the cheese and could fix the raid

3 RespuestasCan they just fix VoG first? I'd like to be able to not have to return to orbit because Oracles or Containment bubbles don't receive damage from relic holder, or going through a portal and not coming back to Atheon. Or more recently, Templars health just spontaneously regenerating (visually), but actually taking damage. I think their plan is to wait for enough raids to be out, you begin to forget about the older ones, and their bugs.

10 RespuestasLike most companies in life the boss calls the shots. Next you should write to the cable company and dictate their TV listings. Wait, you don't work there.

I love this guy & his forum post lol. You sir have my vote on this!

1 RespuestaIt's because so many people care about how others play the game, so they bitch on the forums about exploits. And those are an easy temp fix and can make a portion of people happy for a short time. While issues that actually matter are harder to fix and they would rather get a quick fix out instead. They have been doing it since launch. They put out a quick fix for an issue that does not really matter, yet some people are vocal about to get people to think "oh, they are fixing stuff, then this should be fixed soon too", or they pop an event that has no purpose but to draw attention away from issues. This has been the pattern since the game released. I expect this shit from activision, but I had really hoped since bungie was involved that it would not be like this. Such a disappointment.

Hey, you. Yeah, you. Don't work on anything else until [insert problem here] has been fixed, I don't care how long it takes, don't work on anything else until [insert problem here] is fixed. You say you're currently working on fixing [insert problem here]? Good, just remember, don't fix anything else until [insert problem here] has been fixed.

7 RespuestasI believe the main reason they fixed this as their hotfix is because the HM of the raid comes out TODAY, you dumbass, why would they fix an issue with something that could quite honestly be fixed next hotfix and not make as big an issue. Fix the more pressing issue of the raid so it's done and closer to being ready for the more challenging raid. Granted the heavy ammo thing is annoying, but stop dying and you wont lose it, you shouldn't be rewarded for dying and keeping your heavy ammo, consider it a penalty for dying. What specifically do you want them to fix that you think is more pressing of an issue then getting a main focus of the game the way it should be?

1 RespuestaVanguard Marks and Vanguard Accommodations are the most useless currency in Destiny, along with Motes of Light. Seriously does any give a crap about any of these things anymore?
-
I entirely agree. Basically there are tons of legitimate bugs and glitches and balances that go unfixed in the game, but none of them have been addressed because apparently the only thing that matters is that the game isn't slightly easier for the player. If it's gamebreaking but forces the player to spend more time in game then it's OK, but if it's an exploit that allows players to spend five less minutes in the game they devote all their attention to stopping it. And the reason people are using that exploit is because they refuse to fix the actual bugs in the game. There was a wonderful article on Kotaku a couple weeks ago about this very issue. Basically Bungie is fighting with the player base and slow down progress (and not just in raids either) rather than fixing the legitimate issues.
-
How about....its their job to fix it?

1 RespuestaBungie, please don't stop the Hot fixes for the raids. Try to pump them out a bit quicker and more thorough so cheesing is nipped in the bud.
-
There isn't a single word in the entire human language to describe how little I care. A quantum supercomputer calculating for a thousand years, would not even approach the number of -blam!-s I do not give about the "exploits." If I want a fun and challenging experiance, I'll do the raids legit. If I'm in a hurry, I'm going to cheese them. What do I really care about? The actual bugs that affect gameplay. So kudos to you man, for stating once again for the umpteenth time, that we want actual fixes not what has been happening.
-
How about you dicks stop finding cheeses then and just play the way intended and they won't.

Editado por Mortedea: 1/21/2015 7:56:29 PMi dont have time to explain why i dont have the time or patience to keep listing the day one bugs that still lurk on destiny.
-
Damn Bungie and their need to create patches to prepare for the release of the hard version of the Raid. Would they please stop planning ahead and focus on fixing things they're probably already working on fixing. Those monsters!
-
2 RespuestasIf you stop cheesing, they won't have to fix cheeses. Am I right?
-
Hey man, they're fixing these problems first because it's within the 30 days of launch so it's all funded by activision where as including new things and fixing old stuff is past their agreed time frame so it's out of bungie's own pocket.

6 RespuestasEditado por KajeX: 1/21/2015 4:20:18 PMA few things that are annoying me tons right now: Vault of glass bugs - The best one was yesterday. Two praetorians were frozen on a conflux with infinite HP. No one could kill them. Everyone died. I wish it were on the PS4 so I could have recorded it (but was on ps3). It was hilarious and beyond broken. Switch between two special or heavy weapons with the same or similar ammo capacity and most (or all) ammo disappears. Yesterday in nightfall I used a special ammo pack, then switched weapons (using no ammo) to find I had zero ammo remaining and was on lockout for 5 minutes. Eris bounties (and sometimes normal bounties) don't always appear until switching characters or logging out "Complete 5 bounties in one day" bounty counter has been broken more than once making it impossible to complete. And finally, the infamous heavy ammo bug. I could go on, but let's only worry about fixing "cheese" rather than addressing concerns of the community.

3 RespuestasBefore you complain about the little in game issues, an more on their crappy server issues. Bungie had a Beta to stress test the servers to prevent server problems. Since release, we've all experienced server issues, getting kicked out of games Etc. With the server problems that they have, I can see the beta was pointless. They need to fix the server issues before they fix the raids, balancing weapons Etc. Servers should be the primary focus right now for bungie, then fix everything else later.

2 RespuestasNote, you should say you COULDNT care less. Just think about what you're actually saying for a moment and it makes sense. (Not meant to be an insult.) That said, I agree. I'm tired of the worthless fixes they're releasing that can still be cheesed. You can't tell me they don't know how to fix this crap. And if it's hard, maybe they should just prioritize for a little bit.
